N3 demo impressions

I loved it. I just finished beating it, and it is a blast. It looks great for all the enemies on screen, the only problem is a slight bit of slowdown before a cut scene. I really enjoyed all the different item drops, and what a bad ass you are by the end of the level. I am curious how that will work in the game. The demo is level three in the game and it seems you get some serious upgrades by the end of it. The later levels are going to have to be really fucking hard to balance all the items you collect. Your teammates help a lot more in N3 then they do in DW5, which is nice. I also liked all the enemy variety, there are like 6 or 7 different enemies on just this one level alone. I can't wait to see what the full game throws at us.

Yeah, the N3 demo was fucking great. I'm literally amazed at the people online who provide a laundry list of things "wrong with the game". Its fucking fun! Who gives a shit if the "enemies don't put up much of a fight" or if the "troops don't listen to my commanders perfectly", I'm fucking content to run into an army of 500 motherfuckers and send them all flying.


Shit is so badass. Cannot wait for... week after next right?

I just finally got to play it the other day and enjoyed it a ton. :D

The game definitely has that wow factor as you go ripping through a-loads of enemies sending them all flying like that one battle in the courtyard in the Matrix with all those agents.

I just hope the combat system is deep enough to keep the hack and slash stuff fun for extended periods. Towards the end of the demo I found myself looking away a bit talking to my gf while just pressing the attack buttons kinda randomly and everything was as if I was looking right at the screen and actually trying to play.

I imagine as you get further into the game or use different characters the combat dynamics will change... become more difficult... involve more strategy... etc.

I know that as you level up you unlock new attacks.
