Haha. I am glad to hear that. Once Sega came out and said that the PS3 is the main platform that they are going to develop for, I started to hope that they would fail.

Sega came out and said that? I missed that.

Oh well, Sega hasn't been known for competent decisions for awhile now. So why that should change is beyond me.

If someone wants to sell games in Japan, support the Wii.
If someone wants to sell games in the US/Europe, support the 360.

$1000 for a console indeed. :]

Well... maybe Sega should have just let themselves be bought by Microsoft when they had the chance. They wouldn't ever run the risk of going belly up.

Apparently being bought by a panchinko making company that also does some videogame publishing is a lot better than being bought by one of (if not the) most successful companies in the world.

Yeah I know.. those dirty Americans thinking they could possibly taint the pure American-born Japanese company with that filthy American money!

I remember Sega said they wanted to be bought by Nintendo, and Nintendo said, "we don't want that debt."

The MS buyout was pretty much done but then Sega started with the insane demands. They wanted every DC game to be playable on the XBOX but that would have delayed the xbox even more and MS did not want another delay.

I wonder how much DC backwards compatibility would've helped the Xbox...

Sega would've been in a LOT better position under MS though...

Hmm.. interesting, never heard that.
