What I would like to see Bungie make..

Is a game based on the time period before the fall of Reach. It would be awesome to be a member of a squad of Spartans, running around and fighting the covenant on all kinds of different worlds. 4 player co-op over Live would be great. I don't know how many people played the Rainbow Six game for the DC, but before missions you could plan your route, that would be a cool feature for a game today. Before each mission you could get a briefing and decide how you are going to accomplish your mission, and there could be multiply ways to go about it. I really hope that after Halo 3 Bungie goes back to when there where multiple Spartans running around fucking shit up.

A squad based Halo shooter prequel sounds righteous to me man. Personally Halo is probably my favorite franchise ever in videogames. Yes flame me all to hell but I just dig those games and I am always looking for new info and reading the Bungie weekly update religously.

I hope that in the next fe wmonths more and more Halo 3 stuff will be shown. That is my number one most anticipated title. :)

I agree with that, I am a huge fan of Halo as well. :D

I am just hoping for at least 4 player online co-op for Halo 3. I am sure it will be in there.

They supposedly were working on another IP at the same time as Halo 3... so I don't think their next game will have anything to do with the Halo/Marathon series, though, at the same time, they also said at a recent comic con "Halo 3 is NOT the end of Halo."

At X06 Bungie is going to unveil there new IP. I was talking about what I would like them to do with the Halo universe after they finish Halo 3. They are going to do something, most likely a Halo themed MMO. I would rather that they made a R6 type game.

Ah, well, in that case... I'm assuming you read the Fall of Reach book since you were talking about a "prequel" to it. Toward the end of the book, they spoke of Spartan-3s in training while the Master Chief took off. So in theory, if it's been x number of years later, the Spartan-3s should be ready around the time of Halo 3 or possibly 4. So in theory... they could just continue the same story if they wanted. Regardless, I would really like a Fall of Reach game anyway.

I really hope they don't do an MMO with it, I'd be really pissed if I couldn't go back and play it 10 years later because they shut off the server. I would also hate having to pay to play after I already bought the game (provided Microsoft will charge for it). All in all, I like the idea of MMOs, but I don't like how they feel like a rip off.

Indeed. There are a few MMOs that don't have a monthly charge (Guild Wars), but even then I just find them far too time consuming and monotonous.


Fall of Reach game would be ace though. :D

I really like th eidea of persistent worlds and being able to show something for the time you hav eput into a game. I like buidling up my character, getting wepaons and armor all set up and in general creating an alter-ego I can go forth and play as in a huge world.

Now the monotomy and money etc are not appealing at all. The things I mentioned above is why Chrome Hounds has grabbed my attention so fully.

I am for more Halo games to a point....I don't want Master Chiel to become the new Mario. :X

etc....

I am not a big fan of MMO's, but a squad based Halo with a squad of Spartans would make me very happy.
