No Konami has said that they are brining the infirior PS1 version to XBLA due to them having to get the game under 50 mbs.

Hopefully no one at MS is reading this but I would pay life $30 for this game. This and LoK where my 2 favorite PS1 games. If MS could just get LoK I could die a happy person. The achivements for this game are going to be so bad ass. Castle Master: Complete the game with 200.6%.

There is an unintended consequence of XBLA. Hopefully this will kill the ebay market for games like this. I tried to buy Dracula X for the Saturn a while ago and it was going for $30, or $40.

Good point and that is only a good thing for people trying to buy these games in their original form.

Eh... the Saturn version... technically... isn't the superior version.


It was slapped together at the last minute by some off shoot of Konami, and was a VERY lazy port. They just added the 2 extra levels (one of which is INSANELY helpful though), an extra boss (or 2), and the ability to play through the game as Maria.

Graphically though... the Saturn version is very poor.

Oh I am sure that we are going to hear these kinds of announcements more and more. SF2 has already sold a couple million copies, and that is basically free money for the devs. If you are a dev you would be crazy not to go to MS and see if they will put your game up.
