File this one under "keep your fingers crossed" though. It hasn't been confirmed, its just on the NAOMI hardware, and Warashi (the people who made it) have said that they are considering a DC and/or PS2 port of the game. But given how damn cheap a DC port would be to do...

Anyways, here's some videos.

At any rate, the game looks nuts. I'd like to see it on the DC... even if it doesn't really look like my kind of 2D shooter (it being a manic and all).

Looks really cool. I hope that it does not come to either the DC or the PS2. That shit needs to come to XBLA. I bet it sells twice as much on XBLA then it would sell on the DC and PS2 combined.

Not in Japan...

I am not worrying about Japan. Unless it is a DS game then the Japanese won't give a fuck about it. The gaming scene in Japan is in serious decline, except for the DS. Companies need to start worrying more about the US and Europe, and in those regions XBLA is kicking ass.

YOU are not worrying about Japan, but thats NOT the way the Japanese think. They're more about some weird honor thing as opposed to logic. Its why Senko no Ronde was region locked, its why Sega of Japan kept fucking over Sega of America since SoA was more successful, its why Nintendo refuses to release Mother 3 in the states, and I could go on and on about the incompetence of Japanese game developers.

Yeah, logically it would be great if they released this stuff over XBLA. They'd make a killing in profits and we'd get to enjoy good games. But that won't happen because they're too damn stubborn. And even if it was on XBLA, chances are they'd region lock it. :~

Are they releasing this for the DC?
For some reason the game reminds of the many CAVE offerings
a lot..(LOL)

It will most likely sell well in Japan regardless. That's the type of
game they like.

*Said in my best crotchety old man voice*

I remember in my day, these shooter games had a maximum of 5 enemy bullets on the screen at once... And it was STILL hard! We didn't need 10,000 multi-colored bullets blazing at you from every different direction to have a good time with the game! We just played through with our standard gun and 3 bombs and when our game was over, we had to start back at the beginning of level 1-1! And we LIKED it! We LOVED it! :p

Raiden was my favorite, and it's because of those millions of buller on screen I loved it so much.
