Superman Returns: Very good, but Batman Begins, both Spidermans and all 3 X-Men movies are better, IMO. Maybe it is because I don't like Superman as a character. He is too powerful and too clean cut.
Pirates of the Carribean 2 Awesome and a lot of fun. It really sets up Pirates 3.
DVD's
The Hills Have Eyes (new version): Pretty bad, my wife wanted me to rent if from Netflix though. She didn't like it either.
Hostel: another request from the wife and another so-so movie. It was better than hills, but still not all that great. It was disturbing and made Eastern Europe look really shady.....moreso than it already does. :SM28
I have Ultimate Avengers 2 and Inside Man on the way from Netflix and I really need to see Clerks 2.
I also recently purchased Beavis and Butt-Head The Mike Judge Collection Vol. 3 I love those guys.

I saw Superman Returns and I was very sorry that I did. Lex's plan made NO FUCKING sense at all. The movie it self was way longer then it needed to be, and whose idea was it to make a big budget Hollywood film and not have one single hot chick in the whole fucking movie.

I thought it was too long as well. I think Lex just wanted to rule the world, crazy masterminds are still crazy.
I recently saw Miami Vice. And I totally don't recommend it. Its basically just an extended music video, and it really drag on at some parts (no fucking reason for that to be a 2 1/2 hour movie).
I'm HOPING I'll see Monster House soon (as it was written by Rob Schrab and Dan Harmon, the creators of Scud: The Disposable Assassin aka jp's favorite comic series in the whole wide world). Granted, somehow that information snuck by me and I didn't know it until my freaking cousin told me just last week. Now I just gotta find a chicky to take to it... :]

That is another movie I want to see (Monster House).

I have no problem with crazy, but I can't stand stupid. Here is his plan in a nut shell: drop crystals into the ocean flooding the US forcing all the people who live in the US to move to crystal island, at which point he will sell them land. How the fuck are they going to pay for his land, with US money. It is the single craziest idea in the history of movies.

Yes... Monster House is the most entertaining movie I've seen in a long time... I saw it the same day as Clerks 2... it was a very good day...
Trying to get my hands on the English versions of Death Trance and The Great Yokai War (Miike's latest to my knowledge)... I'll post once I watch them for JP at least...
I can't find Death Trance anywhere. :ohno:
I'll just order it online Monday or something.

I basicly had no interest in Superman due to being a Smallville fan, so it was just weird to even see the previews, lol.
Another thing, as for Pirates 2, ugh...I did not care for it that much at all, and I think the first is way better, this one was just kinda meh and slow and boring actually, lol.
I want to see Monster House, but probley end up renting that one.
Im trying to think of what else i've seen, and I keep forgetting I saw Lady In The Water with some friends, and now that is a WEIRD movie, very differnt, but not bad at all.
Movie of the year = Mission Impossible III. :p

MI:3 was a sad sad pathetic movie that essentially copied all the basic elements from the infinitely superior MI:2.
John Woo rules...... period. See Face Off if you have any doubts of his prowess as an action movie director.

I would have to disagree with that, I tought MI2 was okay at best. Having Phillip Seymour Hoffman play the villan in MI3 instantly made it a better movie than MI2, IMO. It might have borrowed a lot from MI2, but I would say it improved on it.
My dumb ass has still not seen Clerks 2 or Monster House. :SM16
Saw Monster House this weekend and I just saw Muthafuckin' Snakes on a Muthafuckin' Plane!
Monster House was really good. I went with my parents and even they enjoyed it. It was dope as hell seeing Rob Schrab's name in the credits too! Never thought I'd see that.
But yeah, Monster House was funny and was a well written movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Snakes on a Plane was fun until Samuel L. Jackson said "All praise be to Playstation!" After that line, I immediately wished I hadn't given the movie creators my money. :annoyed:

Clerks 2? :]
There's a big difference between a 2 second praise of something I don't like and a 20 minute diss of something I do like. :(
