Dead Rising impressions

Fun game. VEEEEEEERRRY difficult. It captures the feel of zombie flicks perfectly. Yeah, zombies are stupid and slow and for the most part are simply annoying. But they just keep coming... and coming... and coming... and coming... until eventually you just wind up suffocated by them.


The inclusion of "psychopaths" (aka boss fights) is neat as well. In fact, Adam the Clown is one of the fucking craziest things I've seen in a video game. And his death is fucking classic.


All in all, I'm liking it so far. Its REALLY fucking hard, but its definitely a fun game. There's A LOT more to it than just killing zombies too... which is cool.

Thanks for the impressions, but I am still going to hold off on this one. With me really starting to become addicted to Chrome Hounds and (as I have mentioned so many times before) my backlog I have no time for a new game. Especially not one that is $60.


I do want to trash zombies in a mall though so I will probably give it a rent as I have $7 in credit at Blockbuster. Although I am sure they won't get it in until next week sometime.
