Took a guy out crabbing on Thursday. We did well. 14 dungy and 6 big rock. I have 4 of my dungy and 2 of my rock to a friend from work. She gave me a bottle of wine. I don't like this. I wanted to do something nice for them and I know they are doing something nice in return, but to me it feels like they traded me wine for crab and takes away from me trying to do something nice for someone. Maybe it's dumb and friends just do things like that, but I don't like it, lol.

hey all, had a good Christmas and New Years.

First holiday season being married, and there seems to be more worked involved now lol. We hosted a Christmas dinner for her side of the family Xmas Eve., then the typical gifts/lunch at my parents house. I was pretty worn out from both and still had to work the late shift on Christmas (yay extra pay!)

For new years went to party with coworkers and had a good time, although no one seemed to pay attention when the the clock struck midnight, lol.

GMA...Wednesday Morning, day 5 of having a student teacher and it's driving me nuts. This girl is cool and a good student teacher, but having someone watch me all of the time and "there" every time I turn around, is driving me crazy! I need to get her going on teaching earlier than other student teachers because when my kid comes, I'm taking 2 weeks off and she'll be in charge of everything. Could be in 3 weeks, could be tomorrow. I've been telling her to get her sub card, because when I leave, either she gets paid for doing all of the work, or she does all of the work and a sub sits at my desk getting paid. It's going to be like $800-$900 for doing the exact same thing she'll be doing anyways. I hope she does it.

Also found out yesterday my good friend from work is leaving to the new Jr. High next year. That's going to suck next year. We're opening two new schools and a bunch of people that don't like our principal are jumping ship. I'm not sure what I want to do. I like her, but it's much more about who I get to work with on a day to day, than the principal I see once a week or every other week. Tough choice...

teh drama! LOL

baby may be here next week. the other day, our phone stopped working. this morning the water heater wasn't working. called AT&T and it was their fault, so that was free. then I check a youtube video and fix my water heater for $8. all is good :) I love youtube. it has easily has saved me $1000+ in home/car/boat repairs.

so I just spent the night at the hospital...possibly having our kid today, most likely not. Last night the nurse says, "tomorrow morning for sure!!" so I rush off to work and get everything ready. I take my 9 days off and do all types of work. 4 hours later I'm back and they talked to the Dr. who says, maybe not tomorrow. So if we don't have it today, this nurse jumping the gun just cost me 4 of my nine days off to help my wife with the baby. I'm so pissed. The Dr. was like "oh yeah, I don't think it will be in the morning. That's to early. She's not ready." So it was never really going to happen, she just guessed and was wrong.

Ugh, sorry to hear that NGT. Well the most important thing is the baby. Trust me, all this work BS will be forgotten for the most part once the kid is here. :)

ngt
01-31-2012, 11:52 AM
yeah, that's what I keep telling myself. We're at the hospital now and waiting for the doctor to get here and give us the final word on our direction for today. It's either "baby today" or "go home and come back on Sunday". Even if we go home, it will just be sitting around and taking care of my wife in case something happens. I guess this is just part of the fun, lol...

The day my daughter was born we went to the hospital in the morning. They sent us home and we had to go back that afternoon, she was born at 8:22pm. We were lucky, only two trips to the hospital and they were on the same day. Like I said as long as baby and mommy are okay, that is all that matters. Enjoy!

ngt
01-31-2012, 01:38 PM
Yay!

I was thinking "fweew", but "yay" works just fine. :D

craziness begins today, lol....

From what everyone tells me though, the beginning is the easy part. They eat, sleep, poop, and sleep. It's when you actually have to watch them when it gets hard, lol.

His name is going to be Will Hudson (William Timothy Hudson) ....not too fond of the Timothy part, but it's my dad's name and it will make him happy. We're going to call him "Will" though, to try and keep him away from changing it to Bill, which we both don't like.

Will Hudson is a strong sounding name, imo. Like "Did you see that new movie with Will Hudson? I heard he does his own stunts!" or "Did you see that 9th inning walk off home run Will Hudson hit last night? Upper deck!!" :D

Hoping it's not, "Oh no! You drank the cool-aid Will Hudson brought from the commune?? Nice knowing you." or "Did you see that lady walk in front of that bus on the news last night? She really pulled a Will Hudson on that one." :D

Luminous

Yes, but they eat every three hours for the first three months, well just about, so sleep doesn't exist. Learn to take naps. Yes it is harder in some ways once they are mobile, but now with a three year old I don't have to keep an eye on my daughter every waking moment. I do most of the time anyway, but she can be left to herself while I am in the kitchen or bathroom or doing something for a minute or two. Plus if she needs me she just comes and gets me. Every age has it's good and bad, but it's mostly good. :D

ngt
01-31-2012, 02:14 PM
Being able to go to the bathroom alone sounds good, lol. Not as good as them going to the bathroom alone and "cleaning themselves well" alone, lol

Went to my neighbors and their 3 year old yells from the bathroom. "I'm DOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!" and mom looks at dad and says "your turn".

Oh, and when I do go back to work. I'll only be on night duty on Friday and Saturday nights. My wife is "stay at home" so she'll be on night duty all week. I'll be on full time "evening" duty though, lol.

I can see a

"honey, I'm going to bed."

"but it's only 7pm"

"sorry, off to bed. btw, baby just shaat :p "

Luminous
01-31-2012, 03:43 PM
LOL, yes it is a team effort. I'm not kidding my daughter's first 15 or so shits were all mine to clean. Not on purpose, but it was just sheer luck/timing. We would take turns the first two weeks staying up as I took vacation. Once I went back to work my poor wife was on night duty for the most part. It was like heaven once she started sleeping for 7 hours straight, that is about 3 months in. At one point around 1 year old or earlier she slept 12 hours 7pm - 7am, that was amazing. Now she goes for 9 or 10 hours, which is still pretty good. Yes she goes to the bathroom by herself, but we assist with the cleaning. She is real good about going now, but we like to make sure she is clean. It's amazing how fast they grow up.

ngt
01-31-2012, 08:07 PM
Yeah, that's what everyone keeps saying. While I say, "man, I can't wait until they can walk and talk and clean themselves", most of my friends with kids are saying, "man, I wish they would slow the F' down and stay little for a while."

7 hours of sleep per night would be GOLDEN!! I get that now...about.

Fuck man, my best friend since I was 16 (17 years) just called me and said he's getting a divorce. His wife told his sister that she's serving him the papers on Friday. That's how he found out. 3 1/2 year old daughter and married for 5 years. Don't even know what to tell the guy besides "I'm sorry bro, you deserve better, and I'm here for you for anything you need." Sad day indeed. To be fair though, they've always had a huge verbally abusive relationship. But still, it sucks!

Hunter

I don't know. I know she'll be loved by both sides without a doubt, but her mom's side will talk so much shit around her about her dad when he's gone she'll get a very "WRONG" image of her dad. As far as the two of them, He's done his share of dumb stuff, but the way they treat each other verbally should never be done and shrugged off by a husband and wife. I think he'll feel better about himself without her.

Haven't turned on a videogame in 6-7 weeks...weird thing. I don't have any pull/draw to get over there. I will soon be behind two map packs in MW3, lol.

Starting spring break today, and when I get back, my student teacher takes over for 2 weeks. So 3 straight weeks without teaching. Feels weird. I'm going to plan out and prep for the rest of the year. I know my class is going to be a mess when I get back, but I guess that's how student teaching works. It's tough teaching a teacher instead of 100% focusing on teaching your kids. They do suffer.

Not sure how to do that. Right now I'd downloading the XP service pack 3 and if that doesn't fix the situation I'm going to try and do some trouble shooting via the System Configuration Utility. I have some guy on a site called "spywarehammer" helping me. Seems I got some Vundo something in my computer and all is foooooooked. I just talked with him and he said it's 1am where he's at so that's it for help from him until the morning, lol. I just hope doing this other stuff I don't screw something else up. Ok.... so some people here know about my current conudrum and others don't but I'm struggling to make a decision and I need to vent a bit. The long and hopefully short of this is that I am at a crossroads for my career/life. I thought I would be living in Socal, working at my current job, marrying my long time on/off girlfriend Kim, buying a house, starting a family... basically settling down finally (which I very much desire). Well earlier this year the gf and wedding plans were crumpled up and thrown in the trash. There was an initial layoff at work, but my department wasn't affected. When they did the layoff in January of this year they said to everyone that a second one was coming in June/July. I know my department will be affected this time, hell I already know how many people I need to layoff.... just gotta pick the losers out. (Being sarcastic here sorry) In having a conversation with my boss today, he didn't give me any encouragement about my personal prospects. I received a bad review for 2011, and he said today that "If my current performace does not improve further, that I would not be working for the company two years from now.

While this might seem like a bad position to be in, I have a job offer on the table right now that, given the current situation for me, is difficult to ignore. I'm not trying to brag or anything, but these guys are offering me 20K more a year, an additional week of vacation, and the kicker...... an 80K signing bonus. :o

It seems like simple math..... get rid of the shitty job that might let you go soon, and take the new job with more money and more vacation along with a nice deposit for my house down payment piggy bank. But I love southern california, of course the bay area ain't bad either. I have all my friends and family down here (except you guys of course...your portable and thats great).

What to do........ grrrrrrr. :( Any thoughts people?

Hunter
03-26-2012, 08:54 PM
It'd be a no brainer for me. I'd take it in a heartbeat. But that's who I am. I am not the most social person in the world. So I imagine being separated from so many people would have a larger impact on you. At the same time though, the Bay Area is not that far. True, you can't make the trip every weekend, but it's close enough that you could still visit with friends and family pretty often. I'm not sure I completely understand, but it sounds like you and your gf broke up. If that's the case, that's one less tie you have here I guess.

I don't know that anyone can really tell you what to do, but is this job a once in a lifetime thing? It sounds to me like you were offered it for a reason. If you lose your current job, will you land on your feet? Or is that in doubt? How likely are you really to lose your current job? Compare that with how difficult it is for you to make new friends, and how difficult it will be to keep in touch with old ones and family.

ngt
03-26-2012, 08:58 PM
where's the new job? Up here in the Bay? You know me, I love it here and wouldn't move for the world. But job security is big. How long of a contract are you in for that 80k? If you don't like the job or want to leave, how easy would it be to leave the new job without having to repay your signing bonus? If the old job is going to fall through, and it sounds like even if you get a good review and back in good with the bosses, layoffs aren't inevitable anyways. It's a really tough call man.

If it were me, I would most likely stay where my friends and family are and start looking for a new job down there while I still had my current job. Then again, when it comes to change like moving out of the area, I'm a big pussy and stay put. I've lived in the town you visited since I was 5, lol. Now I own a house and have a family here. I can't wait to take my kid to his little league games at the parks I use to play at, etc...etc.. But that's me. $80,000, + $20,000 more per year and a week more of vacation is cool sounding. I'm big on staying around my friends and family though. I don't know if it would be enough to pull me away.

that is a lot of F'n money though, lol....

NewportStark
03-27-2012, 11:50 AM
The new job is in Menlo Park, located in the San Francisco Bay Area on the peninsula. I lived there a couple other times in my life and I know I'll enjoy the area.

The 80K signing bonus will have a 12-18 month hook on it for repayment if I decide to leave the company before that time, and typically its prorated, but I won't know all the details till I get the paperwork. Thats not long at all really considering the amount. I also don't think I'll be looking to leave anytime soon. The company is a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson.... ever here of them? :p Its a smaller company, going through a big growth phase right now. They have "beer firdays"..... at work. So I gotta think that its not a bad place to be right?

For me I want to stay in one place now. I thought that was gonna be where I am now in SoCal. Its just not my time though and I'll need to move again here to take this job. Thats my life though... one move.. then another... and another.... and so on...... and so on. That way of life has its pluses and minuses. Variety is there and its allowed me to make impressive career gains in both position and pay despite everything thats been happening in th economy (it still amazes me to be honest). It lacks stability though and prevents you from really building anything very coherent in your personal life. Thats why I said earlier that I love you guys cause your portable. No matter where I go, Sestren, you guys, Live...etc are all there just like always. I don't want to get all mushy, but I really do appreciate and enjoy what we have here in this small, but tight knit community. :)

Luminous
03-27-2012, 11:58 AM
I was going to tell you to do it. I know we agree a lot on games, movies, etc, but our personal lives are at different places. I still think you should give that new job a shot. I know you are not always all that happy with your current spot, so go for it. Again you are only moving yourself (well lots of gaming stuff, but you get my meaning) and not a family so now is the time to do it.

DO IT, DO IT NOW!!!!

I also like having another group of people to bounce ideas off of, share stuff with, etc. It's hard to explain to some friends and they just don't get it.

NewportStark

I definitely don't mind thoughtful advice from folks.

I guess I have not exactly come out and said it plainly, but here goes.... I am accepting the job offer. I'll probably be telling the new company yes today and then waiting for everything to be official before I notify my current employer of my resignation. I'll have to do the move myself so this whole thing will take a bit of time, but as I see it right now, I should start the new job on June 4th. Gives me enough time for 2-3 weeks of notice at my current job, time to move all my shit and hopefully a bit of time for R&R. I need a vacation man... a real one..... not that go visit family BS. :p

Do It Now!!!!!

I mean, theres only two places better than SanFran to live (O-town and NORWAY!!! lol), and the pros are a lot better than the cons. I know you wanna settle and all that, but hey, GFs gone, and you plan on staying there for a while, so you might even have a better shot at all those things there than where you are right now! And if you wanna keep that awesome professional growth going, then I think the choice is pretty simple. Move to a place where they want you and get a fresh start, or stay where they dont want you that much, and where things are getting rocky, not only for you, but for your whole department.

Hunter

Yeah... my minds pretty made up at this point. Too many positives to not do it. Its just such a change compared to where/what I was planning for just two months ago. Its amazing how life twists, turns, dips and dives along its path. Better make sure my hands and feet are inside the vehicle at all times and my saftey belt is on tight... its been/going to be a hell of a ride........

For the record I am a mad scientist. Actually I am a microbiologist working at a manager level in the medical device manufacturing industry. But you can still call me the mad scientist. :)

A June 4th start date definitely gives you plenty of time to get a week or so off with no work to organize all your shit. Alright so by mid to late summer you should be moved in and good to go. That'll work, glad you made a decision, I am sure it will be beneficial in the long run. I have never been to SanFran, but I hear pretty much only good things about it.

Sounds like your making a good call newport. You say you want stability and staying at one place..perhaps that was just not possible where you are at. This relocation might just do the trick :) And like you said free beer on Friday holy shit my company needs that! To bad meteorologists are treated like bottom feeders where I work :)

By the way we haven't done this awhile but how is everyone else doing personally?

I am pretty good. I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Chicago with my wife (sort of a delayed honeymoon) That place really makes me want to move there. Things are just too dull here in Kansas, and I really want a change soon. Don't get me wrong though life here is pretty good and my career is going well. The field of operational meteorology is so difficult to get into these days I truly feel blessed. However, the pay is not great, and we continue to take on more responsibility yet no added $$. There is a significant lack of career progression within our company and this is the case for many private sector weather companies. The issue also comes up that my wife is having difficulty launching her career here due to the lack of jobs in this state. We both have very specific fields so its highly unlikely that if we were to move, I would have to change careers. I have thrown the idea that I am fine at making a significant change so she can land a job in her field, which would pay better than what I could make. We'll see where it leads us too :)

I know I don't post or game as much as I use to but I still always enjoy coming here. Shout out to all the sestren crew!

Funny you should mention that. Just had a lunch meeting with a vendor and they all mentioned how much they like Chicago too. Makes me curious. Only time I've been there was to switch planes on a trip to Kentucky for work.

On a Chicago gaming related note I checked out this store: http://www.yelp.com/biz/people-play-games-chicago. excellent selection of old school games. Their sega master system collection was impressive as was there dreamcast. They had a few decent saturn games but wish they had more otherwise I would have bought something :)

We also checked out this amazing record store called Logan's Hardware: http://www.yelp.com/biz/logan-hardware-chicago-5 Just an ordinary record store but wait...if you buy anything in the store you can go to their back room that holds a large collection of arcade machines and play for free! It was amazing and I really want to go back there again.

Chicago is cool... but can be cold too. Winters there are a BIATCH! Definitely a cool town worth checking out. I was there on St Patricks Day about 5 years back.....that was fucking wild man. :)

Oh yeah... their airports suck major ass too. I avoid ANY chicago airport at ALL costs.

Well...... I am moments away from telling the new company yes. Its a little nerve racking to be honest.

I forgot to mention that we took amtrak to Chicago. Although it took the same amount of time if we were to drive, it was much cheaper than flying and it was quiet enjoyable. It was also record setting heat while we were there
Also funny you should mention st pats day..we arrived there on that day

.the whole city was insane I felt like i was at the biggest college party ever ps wtf is my phone browser doing?

You ever get to a point where you have to make a big decision.... and then once you finally utter the words.... a great weight lifts off your shoulders? Yeah... thats me right now! :) Just gotta take care of a couple paper work items.... notify the current company and then pack and move my ass up there. I want to take a couple weeks off for R&R and that looks like its gonna happen and I am super stoked on that. Normally your on vacation knowing that shit is pilling up at work for when you return.... not this time!

NGT - I love wine, even belong to two wineries down here where I live. Its much better up there and I would love to go for round two of the BBQ. My personal fav area is russian river, but I would love to check out Dry Creek too. :)

Wow, that's cray man. Sucks too. I got robbed for the first time ever a few years back. Someone stole my laptop from my car. Really made me angry. Would love to find the bastard who did it and stab him in the face.

I had my car broken into once as well. Feeling powerless as others do what they want sucks. Reminds me of a recent time I was crossing the street and someone narrowly missed me on purpose, flipping me off and cursing at me as they drove by. I tried to shake if off, but then minutes later I decided I wanted revenge. I found their car and proceeded to key the shit out of the drivers side. Would have loved to have seen the little punks face when he saw it. :)

Edit - Not neccesarily my proudest moment... but it felt sooo fucking good. :gun:

That sucks! I've had stuff stolen from me too. Horrible feeling. I use to "take things" from people when I was a kid and one day at about the age of 16 I lost my wallet with $150 in it. Someone brought it back to my house with all of the money still in it. Haven't taken something from someone since and go WAY out of my way to return anything, no matter how small. I've gone as far as walking all the way back into a store from my car to return change under a quarter that was overpaid. lol..

I remember coming back from one of my brother's football games in San Fran and finding our sun roof broken with crowbar marks. Meaning someone was standing on the top of our car with a crowbar trying to pry open our sunroof to get my "starter jacket", LOL.. Craziness!

Ok so its completely official now. I resign today with my final day on Tuesday May 1st!!! This is one of those special days. I'm all giddy inside.

I think I may have found a cool lace to live too. Half Moon Bay, a block off the beach with only a couple houses and then a stretch of sand between me and the water. Its a 1600 sq/ft 2 story, 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage place west of PCH/Highway 1. My commute should be 30-40 mins. Not ideal but for this place I'd say its worth it. Just gotta figure out if they do land line broadband. Can't do the satelite deal.

Update - Resigned about 20 mins ago. I wanted to do it person, but had to over the phone. I really don't care TBH. The countdown begins... May 1st is my last day at the current spot. I'll do a week in NorCal starting May 7th then get the rest of the month off to complete my move. :)

Crap, I really need to make a trip to California. Maybe when the little one is a bit older I can take off for a couple days. Sounds like an amazing place to live.

Morning. I am tired and this is my first day back at work in two weeks......ugh....

First day back after a break always sucks! Been there 3 times this year, lol.

HMB is a great place for fishing :) Beach surf fishing, hit the HMB jetty and go for halibut, rock fish, ling cod, perch, leopard shark etc etc etc.. A block from the beach is hardly the same as a block from the beach in SoCAL. Going to be a bit cold, foggy, windy at times....but I love that weather at the water. Again, jealous....If you can't tell. lol

Yeah I'm familiar with the weather there. The way I figure it, things like my potential commute, weather or anything else that might get annoying over time is temporary as I will be renting and can bail somewhere else in a year. That means its all good.

I guess now NGT will have to come visit me! The place ain't mine yet. I tried to nab it yesterday but they won't allow me to rent it w/o seeing it first. So I may be taking a day trip up there this saturday. More to come! :)

Playing with this new projector I got for work. Got my micro HDMI to HDMI cable for $3.50 shipped via ebay in like 3 days from purchase. Came today. Playing games via my phone on the wall, lol

Very cool NGT!!! so I have good news..... the place in half moon bay is mine. Its not perfect, but I have a place for my jet ski, I have three porches, 2 with ocean views and one with the foothills. No in unit washer/dryer, but I am a couple blocks off the sand. Its waaaaay more positive then negative..... trust that.

Man, I'd love to live a couple of blocks from the beach! I'd be there after work daily catching dinner, lol.

*Simple small lake rod with 10lb line, bullet weight with swivel in a slider rig setup, small hook on a 2ft leader, and 2" (or 6" cut in 3's) Gulp Camo Sand Worms = crack for perch, lol. Learn to read the wave breaks for underwater sand structure. Surf Perch is good eating :D

*You can most likely catch Halibut in a month or so from your beach too, but you'd need a different setup than above (slightly large scale), although I did catch a smaller halibut on that same setup above out at Salmon Creek in Bodega.

Man I need to go fishing, lol.

Anyways, congrats on the new place! Sounds great!!! and you can always meet a cool girl at a laundry spot :)

Open House tonight. Love those 6:30 am - 8pm work days :( I hate this night. Spend 2-3 weeks setting up your classroom for this big show and parents walk in for 10 minutes and walk out with a handful of their kids work that will most likely end up in the garbage. Good times, lol. 2 weeks left and SUMMER VACATION!! WOOHOOOOOOOO! Lets get this sh** over with!!! :D

Hey NGT.... with summer just round the corner, you should think about coming down to HMB for a visit and some fishing/crabing. :) Your welcome anytime. Also I was in Dry Creek this weekend with my Mom doing some wine tasting. I joined a couple wineries up there so I'll have another reason to swing up your way a few times each year to pick up my wine. I'll definitely give you a heads up when I swing that way. I think some time in June I'll be up again.

I'd love to come and check it out down there and yeah, let me know when you come up. New house is a lot better than that apt., lol. Not the greatest, but much better than before, lol. Dry creek is great! What places did you join?

NewportStark
05-16-2012, 11:16 AM
I joined Bella (the place with the cave) and Pappapietro something or other. Bella also has a new brand/label going in to effect with extremely limited membership called 10 Acres. I joined both of those as when you do you get automatic access to 10Acres where as everyone else including existing members actually have to wait for others to drop off. Bella has amazing Zinfindels and that other place has amazing Pinot Noir's. Bella was reasonable while the other place was a bit pricey.

When we meet up next time I'll be sure to pop a bottle or two. Which wineries and types of wine do you enjoy?

ngt
05-16-2012, 08:09 PM
Mostly Zin and cabs. I like reds and could go forever with whites or desert wines.

It's been a while since I've been out there. We use to belong to a winery called Pellegrini off river road. It was pretty good but they'd do random orders off of my quarterly schedule and it pissed me off. Once there was a special christmas thing where I saw a $90 bill 2 days before Christmas for 2 bottles of Pinot. $45 a pop is too much for me without notice and off the schedule. That and my wife getting hurt, caused us to drop some extra expenses. We'd hit 4 right in a row and at the time they were all free tasting. I think one or two take $5 now. Hook and Ladder and Sunce, plus one other.

I've been to Bella, but haven't heard of the other place. I could have gone there and just forgotten, lol. My much more knowledgeable wine drinking friends aren't so close of friends anymore. Good people though. We're actually going to a wine/cheese thing at their house this weekend.

I have always enjoyed Armida out on Dry Creek. We'd hit Wilson's and David Caffaro too. Both of those last places are cool on Barrel Tasting weekend in early march, although that has gotten quite out of hand in general, lol. Fun times though.

Bella's Zin's are amazing.

Every place I went to up there this past weekend had a 10 dollar per person tasting fee. They would wave it with purchase of a bottle or club membership though. Good part of belonging to the wine club is free tasting for you and a guest. In the places down south you could add a friends name to the account so they could get the discount and taste for free too. I'll have to see if these two places allow that and if so I'll add your name on there if you'd like.

ngt
05-17-2012, 08:13 PM
cool! I don't know how that works. I'll ask my friend if he could put together a list of good places that don't charge. Most use to be free and as the area got more popular, most places popped on $5 or $10. I try and stay away from the $10 places. I use to go to 4-5 places and taste for free, then buy a bottle at a place I wanted to go outside and hang out at, then go home spending maybe $10 splitting the bottle with a friend and gas money. Then there'd be times where I'd come home with 3-4 bottles, but I hated spending more than say $25-$30 on something. It adds up. House, kid, and wife out of work. No way I'm going out and tossing a $100-$150 on a day of drinking. Just can't do it anymore. Was fun though.

I hear you man. I paid quite a bit for the bottles I bought. Well most of them anyways. Bella is on the higher side of my comfort zone but the quality is so high I don't mind. The other place is double Bella, but they don't issue as many bottles through their program so it evens out a bit. I must have spent about 6 - 7 hundred on wine that weekend. :p
