Wow, that's when things got good!
Work has been fucking crazy tonight. We got some Fall Fest bullshit going on and there's 75+ people in the lobby and 60+ people in the Exhibit Hall. To make things even more fun, the AV people (in their infinite wisdom) placed some hot ass lights right under a heat sensor, hence setting off a fire alarm. Fun fun. So my boss and I got to run about looking for this fire, and the box said it was on the second floor. So we went up to the second floor. The lights the guys had running up there reeked to hell, so we thought it was that. Fire fighters came, police came, we all decided those lights were what it was, we canceled the alarm and the fire department left.
Not 10 minutes later the alarm goes off AGAIN. This time my boss and I tear the fucking upper floor apart looking for the detector thats going off. We couldn't find shit! So we consulted the "emergency maps" and concluded that the box had been programmed wrong (its fairly new), it was calling the 1st floor the second floor, the second floor the 3rd floor, and the lower level/basement the 1st floor (that is how all the maps describe them, and no one considers the lower area the 1st floor as it is underground). So we find out that the AV guys put some hot ass light under a heat detector and... stuff. Then some electricians show up and they're like "Uh... those lights shouldn't be in those cans... those cans are melting" and "Uh... those lights up there shouldn't be that hot and shouldn't smell like that". Then the AV people laughed at the electricians with 30+ years of experience. Genius! And once again we had to wait for the police/fire department to come in to give us the OK to allow people into the building.
*sigh* Even without all that shit this night has been fucking crazy. I can't wait to go home and pass the fuck out.

Wow, I'm gonna have to make new ranks. I never figured anyone would reach 1k, highest rank is 2k right now. So JP, what comes after Sestren Exsis?
Uh... nothing. Nothing trascends Sestren Exis. I mean, Ancient might, since the Ancients created Sestren, but Sestren Exis is the highest point of Sestren's existence. You could add Sestren Embryonic before Sestren Morphic... but I would rather not have Embryonic in my title.
Now, I did accidentally leave off some monsters when I initially posted the ranks. Golia Hunter and Golia Tracker should've been in there. Not sure if I included Guardian Dragon though.
Hmmm... maybe you could make the ranks trascend into the forms of the blue dragon? Wouldn't make much sense for Sestren to devolve into the blue dragon (since the blue dragon is the counter measure against Sestren), but... *shrugs*
I'm content with it ending at Sestren Exis honestly. Thats a dope fucking title to have. :)

Cool. I guess. I mean, you're the only one close enough to Exsis anyways. It will take time for everyone to achieve it. I may add ancient, set it up as a 10K thing. And maybe at 5K, you get some kind little Icon-mabob. I'll check it out.
I'll go do some research and see if there is anything between Sestren Exis and Ancients. I doubt there is... but who knows. Maybe some detail of the Panzer Dragoon Universe slipped by me somehow. Heh, as if.
'Bout to pass the fuck out. But first:
My poor roomate. Today at dinner some of his friends started talking to him about zombie flicks and of course, Romero came up (personally, Fulci always comes to my mind first) as did the ever lovable Bub the zombie. At any rate, my roomate had never seen Day of the Dead so I offered to show it to him so he could see what his friends were talking about (being that I'm a huge fan of zombie stuff; I play Urban Dead online, I own the entire Romero collection, the entire Fulci collection, etc. etc.).
Well, we started watching it around midnight and got done around 2AM. And apparently the realistic gore creeped him out so bad that he can't go to sleep now. I guess I didn't really consider that, being a fan of Fulci, Guinea Pig, Argento, etc. kinda has me desensitized to such things, and that other people might be a little disturbed when they see someone get ripped in half and have their insides spill all over the floor. Especially right before they're hoping to go to bed.
Oh well, lesson learned. Though I do feel bad as he has class in the morning. :(

In his defense, "Day of the Dead" does have some very graphic death scenes, probably some of the worst as far as "mainstream" cinema goes (not really calling DotD mainstream, but its more-so than say, "Begotten" or "The Beyond").
I thought I had forced him to watch my Fulci collection... but it would appear I was mistaken. So for someone who has never seen anything like that before... yeah, "Day of the Dead" is a bit extreme.
Well... time for bed! I just finished up an AMAZING run in Battle Garegga (for my first day of owning it anyways). I made it to level 4 on one credit and scored 2.3 million. I would've probably made it farther had I not stupidly died 3 times at the stage 3 boss. :SM19

GF owes me Xmas gift tho... but my list is way too long for the chances of getting that one to be good. Castlevania is still first :D because ive already played and beated V.
I've played V before. I'm saving the GBA game as a Christmas thingy.
Though IMO FF peaked with VI. And I could write an essay on why I think that. :drooling:

From what I've played so far of III and V, I would say:
FFVI > FFIV > FFV > FFIII > FF > FFVII
After that I only passively played or watched someone else play the games. Though FFII and FFX would be somewhere around the end.

I only had X for a week or so (when my friend JamesLee was going to sell me his PS2 and all his games so he could buy some Neo-Geo game :kekeke: ) but FFX was just too damn gay. I hated that game. And that weird orb placement system for leveling was fucktarded. Hell, everything in that game was fucktarded.
I played VIII over at a friends house when I was chillin' there for a week. I didn't like the battle system at all. Nor did I like the story or any of the characters. Ugh.
FFVII I played on PC, and once again, I just didn't care for the characters. Cloud and Sephiroth were just ridiculous IMO. The only thing I liked was fighting the Emerald, Ruby, and... Sapphire? Diamond? Whatever Weapons. The plot was just dumb.
IX I briefly played over at the same friend's house where I played VIII. Once again, lame characters and lame plot. It was more intune with the old school FFs, I'll give it that. But it just wasn't anywhere near as good...
XI was a fucking horrible MMO. Its one thing for a game to be an MMO... its another for it to be fucking horrible as well.
X-2 was purchased by my roomate and was complete faggotry on every level.
That said, FF was cool because it started it, and its just a classic. Hell, it still stands the test of time. I wish they GBA version wasn't dumbed down in difficulty though.
FFII was ridiculous. The plot was just silly ("Someone joined us! Oh, they died! Someone joined us! Oh, they died!") and the leveling up, while very realistic, was asinine.
FFIII is shaping up to be really good. I'm liking it a lot.
FFIV was AMAZING! The plot was cool as hell. The plot twist towards the end was amazing. The music, the gameplay, the characters... EVERYTHING about that game was cool. You felt like you were there WITH the characters the whole time! You celebrated with Cecil when he became a Paladin, you got pissed off at Kain when he stabbed you in the back again, and when the truth about Golbez came to light your jaw hit the floor with every other member of the party! And when it looked like Cid and Yang seemed to sacrifice themselves? Or when the kids seemed to sacrifice themselves? When Tella died? AMAZING!
FFV I haven't played much of. I will correct this soon.
FFVI... I cannot praise enough. There is no main character. Celes, Locke, Terra, the royal brothers... everyone just has their own plot. And Shadow is hands down my favorite RPG character ever! And Kefka is hands down my favorite RPG villian ever! What Kefka did on the floating island!? When Celes was alone on the island with Cid and thought everyone else was dead and attempted suicide? Finding out what made Shadow what he is? Shadow's conversation with Terra on the boat? General Leo vs. Kefka?
There are so many awesome moments I could list from that game. The Opera scene and how Celes was thinking about Locke while performing her part? Ultros just being cool as hell? Mog and Umaro and GoGo? When Kefka killed the castle full of people? The Phantom Train?! The part where you have to defend the resistance base against Kefka and the Empire's forces!?
I honestly cannot praise that game enough. The magic system was cool. The different skills people had was awesome. I actually gave a shit about those characters. Once the game was over I was just like "Oh my God I want to know what Locke and Celes went on to do! Did Mash join Edgar and help run the kingdom!? What is Shadow going to do now!? How is Interceptor? What will happen to Terra!? The espers are all fading away! Noooooo!
That game was so amazing. When I first played it I figured the floating island would be the end... and then it turned out to only be the halfway point!!!!!!!!!! :SM14

Well... I'm home for Thanksgiving. Originally I wasn't going to come home... but... well... my parents are moving next week... so I had to come home one last time.
Damn this is weird. I lived in this house since I was like... 6. Damn near two decades later and they're moving. Not even going to be in the same town, they're moving like... 2 hours away!
I dunno, its weird. I grew up in this house. Its odd for me to think that I'll never be inside it again. Its even weirder knowing they won't be in this community anymore. Its going to be one hell of a surreal Thanksgiving...
Today was mad uneventful!
Went to the gym around 1PM. Got home... played Sonic 360 (which teh Josh gave me for Christmas along with Marvel Ultimate Alliance, very cool!).
So far, I'm liking Sonic. Yes, the load times are ridiculous. Yes, the controls are floaty as all fucking hell. Yes, the camera sucks the fat one. But I'm still finding it very enjoyable. Crisis City is, in my opinion, one of the coolest fucking Sonic levels EVER! I just beat the lava monster, now I'm about to play some Zelda once all this damn updating is done!!!
I would play Ultimate Alliance... but getting my roomate to play that with me is like pulling teeth. Bah! Maybe I'll get online and play with some of you guys later this weekend after my exams and shit!
Weeeee!!!!! My roomate and I just got finished with the first level of Marvel Ultimate Alliance! That shit was cool as hell. I geeked the fuck out when I saw Spidey could get the Symbiote suit. My roomate is going to geek out of Captian America ever gets the WWII costume!
And now we have Spider-Man (me), Captain America (Dave), Moon Knight, and Colossus. :)
I feel like a kid in a fucking candy store though. Fuckin'... Spider-Man... with a symbiote! Moon Knight, Deadpool, eventually Ghost Rider... I'm not going to know who to play as! :SM14

Man, its fucking freezing cold here. Like, 17 degrees or some shit. Shit is nice as hell.
I just got done playing some Excite Truck like no tomorrow. There is SO much shit to unlock in that game. Its awesome. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is equally awesome, and also has a ton of shit to unlock. Both are superb games IMO.
Also, apparently I had pre-ordered Castlevania twice. In full. So with the credit I had from my spare pre-order, I picked up the Wii steering wheel!!!!! Its pretty cool, and definitely makes a huge difference on controlling the game.
Well, tomorrow I'm going to try and take it easy a bit. Maybe work on some beats so Josh and I can get some cool new grooves out for you muhfuckas to vibe to... maybe before Christmas... that would be the shit. Right now, I'm going to change my bandages, and then I'm going to go pass the fuck out!!! And with that I say...

Tomorrow will be jp's super study day for some Calculus. And I'll try to do that project tomorrow. It'll be hard since I'll be workin' with a cute chic that I tend to mess with while at work though. :O
Just finished my essay. Now for a quick break before I dive into some Calculus.
Granted, I can do integrals like nobodies business. So... I guess I primarily will be looking over differential equations and stuff.

Just finished my essay for literature. Wrote it on Flannery O' Connor's "Good Country People" and Alice Walker's "Everyday Use". Flannery O' Connor is always fun, though I much preferred "A Good Man is Hard to Find". That was some hardcore shit right there.
Fuck, I guess I'm going to pass out about now. Then wake up in 5 hours and continue my insane studying. One more day and then its all over. I cannot wait.
Gehenna (Josh and I's rap group) now has 100 friends on teh myspace.
Thats pretty fucking crazy... especially given that the entire page is a parody of other people's myspaces (sort of, its just me making fun of us) and I don't really mess with it that much (I check it maybe once every week or two).
Ah well, time to see if I can force my roomate to watch Chasing Amy FINALLY!!!
Accomplishment for the evening:
I beat FFIII on DS.
That was cool. It was a bitch having to fight 5 bosses back to back, but it was cool none-the-less.
Now to work on some classic games until my thumb heals. And when it does I'm going to try to finish off all the 360 games I've had backlogged for forever and beat Twighlight Princess. And hopefully before I go home next week work on some music *wink wink nudge nudge*.
Hehe, had to make a "Dreams Dreams" reference what with it being Christmas and all. What with the holiday pack on Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast plus Christmas NiGHTS, Christmas is now eternally intertwined with that song in my mind.

Red Steel is fucking awesome. Like, the first "Chapter" where you're in the states is kinda "meh", but once you go to Japan, dear God. It all gets into some Shenmue type shit then. And the climax is a freakin' roller coaster!!! One of the few times where I screamed "FUCK YOU!" at a game, not because it pissed me off, but because a character I hated was pleading for his life and I was dealing the death blow! The plot in Red Steel has really drawn me in. I'm loving it!
Of course, you can't do half of the stuff you can do in Japan while your in the states (you haven't "learned" the skills), so that probably has a lot to do with the game getting better then as well. And the levels look A LOT better later on too. Very cool game.
Radiant Silvergun... well, I posted in the SCSF about that. But my roomate did stop and watch me fight the first boss of Stage 2. He's like "Do you just shoot heroin into your neck before playing this game?! You just dodged all that shit like it was nothing!"
:SM14 Part of the reason I love Radiant Silvergun so. Playing it well just makes you feel like a badass.

Second, why would some random person shoot me a message like that? I found this very odd. But whatever, I replied with:

Now, JP is suspicious. I THINK someone is trying to spy on someone else (or rather, spy on me to see what someone is doing), because thats the only reason I can deduce for someone to ask me to cease having my profile private. My theory, is that someone asked someone else to hit me up and try to convince me to make my profile public so that the original someone could take a gander and see whats goin' on inna bouta na niiiiia! From a quick glance and the person who sent me this message's profile, its quite obvious that chances are they know nothing about NiGHTS. And honestly, the "juggalo" (ICP's retarded fanbase) aspect pretty much seals the deal on what I THINK is going on.
Therefore, I will ignore this person. And be very suspicious of simialr things in the future. Spies be everywhere yo! But I definitely have a good idea of where this goober found me.

So I had my first day of class today!!!
Linear Alg. - Seems like a really cool class. I feel like I'm going to really get into the material. My professor is pretty cool. First day was almost like a standup comedy show. :SM14 He just kept cracking jokes. My favorite part was when he's like:
"I'm a math geek. You know, matrices. Like... you know the Matrix movies. Three movies? Right, everyone sees those numbers floating everywhere and they're like "What the hell is that?" But I am geek. So I paused the movie and converted the binary to base10, and then I converted that to ASCII. And you know what? It didn't say anything. Those movies suck. They're lying to America."

Physics III - Pretty dope. Its all about light and shit, so I'm going to be LOVING it as it actually pertains to my major. Yay!!!
Calculus C - Seems pretty cool. Once again I have a really cool professor. And it seems like the material is going to be very enjoyable. I love matrices and vectors.
Tomorrow is my Special Topics in Number Theory class though. Thats going to be interesting. The professor is supposedly the most hardcore teacher at UAH... so... we shall see.

Drawing things in 3D is... odd... and a bit difficult to wrap my mind around (rather, from looking at it), but the assignment was kind of fun. Drawing a sphere in 3D space is just bizarre though. :SM8
The funny thing about this college shindig is, theoretically, I could graduate in the Spring with a degree in Mathematics. :SM14 But no, I will go for 3 more years so that I may graduate with degrees in Optical Engineering, Physics with a concentration in Optics, and Mathematics. :SM14 I don't know what I would do if I wasn't in school.
Actually, I could probably graduate in the spring with a Major in Math and a Minor in Computer Science. Hmmm... actually, that would be a somewhat interesting thing to do at the end. I think I'm 2 or 3 classes shy of a CS major, so in theory, I could take those two classes at some point, and then graduate with a triple major in OPE/PH/MA with a minor in CS. Wooooo! That'd be a shit ton of degrees.
Tomorrow is my hardcore math class though. :scurred: We shall see how this goes. ratemyprofessor does not speak highly of the dude, but we're friends (never had him as a prof.) and he wrote me a letter of recommendation to get into the class (you had to have a letter to get in). So... we shall see.
Slowly making my way through FFV. So far its pretty cool... but I think I would say I like IV better than it so far. And I like VI more than IV. So... yeah!
Get to go "job hunting" this weekend. Which will be more just me calling up connections. Bleh. Fucking politics at work. My supervisor called me up and was like "Dude, she did not say ANY of that shit to me. When she said that shit to you, I was like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" She just did that to you to get at me."
Whatever. Thats fucking unprofessional as hell to bring me into her war against my boss. But whatever.

yea jp, that was alot of fun. i like to think that im good at gears. im especially good when i have a half decent supporting cast. the people i was on that team with sucked. i mean they knew how to play, but they didnt know how to play as a team. they would just rush into shit or leave someone to go out on their own. so its kinda hard for me to be at my best when the other 3 people on my team are dead or about to die as im about to kill someone. then of course i get killed a short time after. i was getting alittle pist too cause everytime i heard the chainsaw rev, i would shoot the person and it wouldnt do anything. sometimes that game can be very glitchy. still had fun though. just to let you know, i left to play some RSV with a buddy of mine. if you are on tonight, we will play some more. this time to stick me on a shitty team!
Well... I got online so I could play some GoW with KrayzieD and... my fuckin' gold account had run out. Fuck. I could've sworn I got XBL closer to my b'day, but apparently not. Oh fuckin' well. Basically, my boss is at war with his boss who is at war with her bosses. Its all weird politics. At any rate, his boss (who is also my boss) decided to strike against him by striking at his right hand man (me), so she found some way to cut my pay down DRASTICALLY of what I was making. And there was nothing my boss or I could do. So I'm like, "Fine, then I'll fucking leave. And I'll come back when she's gone."
Its fucked up, because I WAS friends with his/our boss. She took me out to eat several times and even gave me a bottle of her wine for kicking so much ass. And then she just turned around and fucked me over.
But how fucked up is it to pull a student worker into the politics? I still think thats fucking wrong.

Speaking of work, I turned in my two weeks notice today! It was really odd though, because my boss (the lady who cut my pay) was cutting up and joking with me when I walked in, and when I signed my time card I was like "Oh, I need to give you this," and I handed her my two week notice. Then she got reallt quiet and was like:
"I really hate this. I really do. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I... really hate to see you go."
She really sounded sad... I wasn't expecting that given stuff my other boss had said. Then she's like "Well, if you EVER want to come back, you're welcome back at anytime. And don't be strange, be sure to come visit us!"
And I'm just like, "Well, no hard feelings. I understand. Yeah, I may come back at some point, I just wanna see what else is out there."
Ah well, it was sad. The day I'm leaving will be my four year anniversary for working there. *sigh* I'm gonna miss that job. But a brutha gotta get paid ya know?

Seriously man, just post the recipe here! I LOVE trying out my friends special recipes on things, because I've found that certain friends of mine make certain things WAY better than I ever did! My best friends Mom makes the worlds best spaghetti, and he makes a freakin' awesome jalapeno ranch dip! Ulala's tacos are my favorite thing in the whole wide world, and my friends really enjoy my... ummm... let's see... ummm... toast! :p Na, about the only "special" recipe I have that's my own is for some pretty simple (but awesome) cinnamon rolls! I'll go ahead and post just in case you should want to try it (they're EASY... and kids have fun making them too... and by kids I mean drunk guys in college with the munchies :p )!
NEEDED:
- 1 pack of the cheap store bought canned biscuits
- 1 stick of butter
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
OK, so here's what you do:
1. Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl (your personal choice on how much of either to put in there. I usually do about 3/4 sugar 1/4 cinnamon, but it's personal preference)
2. Put the butter in a bowl and put it in the microwave until it's melted.
3. Take each biscuit and roll it around in the melted butter so that it's completely coated.
4. Take the buttered biscuit and roll it around in the cinnamon/sugar mix until it's completely coated.
5. Place the coated biscuits on a toaster/oven sheet and cook them in the toaster/oven as directed on the biscuits can.
6. Cheep Cheep Cheep's the name of my soul!* :p
These are pretty freakin' awesome despite how easy they are to make!

meat ( sirloin spread? i guess thats what youd call it. the thing you do hamburgers with )
Tomatoes ( or tomato base sauce, depends on if you know how to do italian tomato sauce, by peeling the skin off the tomato. if you dont, or are lazy, get tomato base. its the raw one without any extra ingredients )
stuff for the sauce. you can put the ingredients you want, but i usually do it with mushrooms, onions, garlic and some basil. salt pepper, and any other stuff or spices you wanna use, like olives n stuff, are depepnding on your taste.
Parmesan cheese. the good one, not the shitty kraft or any that comes already shredded. by the real piece of parmesan and shred it yourself.
Mozarella cheese. also, the good variety. no cheese sticks. buy the round, fresh one.
good baggette bread.
flour.
Start by doing small balls with the meat. put some flour on the table or dish youre doing them, and roll the balls on the flour. make sure its not much flour, or theyll taste bad.
Now start doing the sauce. put the tomato base on a big caserole or something, and put it on medium heat. add some water, depends on how much youre doing. if it seems like too much, dont worry, it will all evaporate. just dont use excesssive amounts of it. then add all the veggies and stuff. use only fresh please. cans make food taste bad. make it boil.
when you have your small balls ( dont do em big, or they wont taste well and theyre a bitch to eat and cook ) put them on a pan. quickly fry em with olive oil, until they are light gray, so that theyre firm, but not fully cooked. when all of them are done, put them with the boiling sauce, and leave them there to cook. depends on your caserole, heat, how much you fried the meatballs the time you must leave them there. just check every once in a while, and taste the sauce. check salt and pepper.
now time to do the bread. cut fine layers of mozarella, and put them on the lower half of the bread. then, shred the parmesan directly on the top half. put it in the oven, to let the mozarella melt a bit into the bread. the parmesan will make a crust on the top half, and the bread will of course be slightly tasted.
when its done, serve the meatballs on the bread. the cheese and toast will help keep the sauce from moisting the bread too much and making it uneatable, and will let you enjoy more sauce! put some extra mozarella and specially parmesan as topping, whichever you like the most, and drink some nice red wine. :)

I'm having trouble getting myself to play games. I never needed to motivate myseflf before. I hope I'm just depressed haha. I'd hate to think I'm just getting sick of them.
Starting to wonder if it's from working too much and getting too fired up all day. Really drains the life out of me.
I think when I get my tax return, I'm gonna buy a decent TV and stereo system so I can set all my consoles up for more convenient playtime. For some reason, the location of play has also been a factor for me to get playing.

Ends up, some college that's actually pretty close to me, coincidentally, employs a professor with my same name. So the jerks are sending me all of their syllabi. I let em off the hook, but I was considering sending out a message to all that the syllabi were unacceptable and that they would all be fired if they didn't revise them to my liking. O well, there's always the next college.

I got an S+ on my MA490 project.
My Mom thinks I'm about to have a stroke so she's like, "Look, chill, we'll cover your expenses and stuff until you can get a new job, just chill out and quit working retail and focus on school."

Things are getting really bizarre in my world these days. So... here's the dealie:
The math department has about convinced me to just switch to straight math (maybe snag my double major in physics too) for now. My reasoning is that it'll take me 1.5 years to get my math degree as opposed to 3 years for my Optical Engineering (I really shouldn't have taken so many classes for "fun" (i.e. History479, a year of Japanese, bunch of math classes that weren't required). So I told the head of the math department about it today, and she was happy. I'll tell my MA490 professor Friday when we're working on Diophantine Equations. But I don't know what I'll do after that. I WANT my optical engineering degree, but the only way I can teach Calculus is if I'm working on my Masters in MATH. Grrr... ah well. Heh, everyone hates engineers in the math department though. Though it makes sense. Most of the people that I saw in engineering were dumbasses. And to get through that shit you pretty much just regurgitate whatever information is given to you and never understand WHY it works. Though in the sciences you explore the why and would be more setup for research. Which is kinda what I wanted to do anyways.
On the job front, it really isn't financially feasible to keep working at the gamestore. Which is kinda shitty, because I'm diggin' it alright these days. I mean, everyone there sings my praises for some reason (its really weird...) and I actually dig the people I work with. My boss has been a good friend for 5 years, the assistant manager and I just goof off and diss Sony all day, and even the 3rd key chic is pretty cool. But... I don't make enough money to survive... so I gotta find something else. You know shit isn't working when you're celebrating over finding a couple of bucks because it means you get to eat that day.
Also about to begin work on my solo album! Wooo! Got some cool producers looking to make beats for it and I'll be making a lot of music personally along with my good friend Nate. So it should be cool. I'm also going to begin working on my duo project with this dude:

Just finished watching Matrix 2. Man that is my fav of the three w/o a doubt.
It sucks not being able to do much when you have a broken wrist and a cast on your arm.
Saw Bridge to Terabithia today at the bargain theater for 2 bucks. Glad I caught it there and didn't end up buying it. Decent movie. But thats about all I'd say it was worth.
Disney really has lost its magic IMO. Pixar's flicks were the best its had in awhile now.
Uhhhh Oh yeah. I also bought and watched Children of Men. It was decent and I still think it was a worthy purchase but I'm not sure exactly what got people all excited about.
Perhaps Shinji can shed some light on this as I believe he sung its praises while it was in the theater.
Now if I could only get my hands on Pans Labrynth........
Oh yeah..... Smokin Aces and NIN's album drop this Tuesday! I'll be nabbing both.

children of men i saw on DVD, and it was a really good movie. script was very very good, cinematography was a beast, and cuaron is one of the top 5 directors in the world imo.

I thought the themes were its best quality. The script was pretty good. The acting was decent and yes I did enjoy the cinematoghraphy and directing too.
As far as cinematography the best one that comes to mind right now for me is Road to Perdition. Man that one left my jaw on the ground with every shot amazing. I really need to watch that one again.

Right now I am getting drunk and playing Wii Play with three of my friends. One is from India, one is from China and one is from Italy, and they all think lazer hockey is the best thing ever. Nintendo is fucking brilliant. I have tried to get them to play 360 games with me before and they were never interested and now they are n fighting for the controller.
