It seriously only takes like 2 minutes for them to play the song you request.
I was getting ready for school one morning, and I requested a song. Right after I requested the song I got up to go pee, and when I came back in my room my song was like half over already.

I can't get the stream at work anymore. Blocked ports. I asked the admin to open the port up, but I think he forgot. I might just pass it by him again.

This is seriously one of the best sites out there! In the past few minutes, I've heard...
- Quartet
- Alex Kidd in Miracle World
- Wonder Boy in Monster Land
- After Burner
- Space Harrier
...and I put in requests for Phantasy Star, Enduro Racer, and OutRun! :56.9hart43:

Man, I love Enduro Racer. Sucked when you hit the ramps wrong. Talk about taking the wind out of your sails.

No kidding! Man, talk about a game that drove me up the wall... but not because of the gameplay or anything, but because my youngest brother would NOT STOP PLAYING IT!!! Seriously, when my youngest brother likes a game, there is NOTHING stopping him from playing it every hour of the day! He did it with very few games, but Rock n' Roll Racing, Final Fantasy III, and Enduro Racer were 3 of the ones that I remember VERY vividly!
Actually, my middle brother got so tired of not being able to play anything, he hid Enduro Racer from my youngest brother, and then he forgot where he hid it! :O Sucks, because we all enjoyed the game, but we didn't enjoy watching my brother play for countless hours and not give us a shot! :p Anyway, about 10 years later when our T.V. went out and we got a new one, we found Enduro Racer... Underneath the T.V.! :SM14 At least by this time my brother had moved on... and couldn't play because my best friend took my Master System connections and never gave them back! :SM19 Oh well... that game does hold some fond memories even if it is just of my brother playing the game for 16 hours a day! :p

Haha, good story. You guys must have laughed you asses off when you found it.
We lost F16 Fighting Falcon. Unfortunately, this story ends there without ever finding the game. Man, that story sucks. Fortunately, I didn't care for it anyway. I hear it's a pretty decent simulation, but I'd never know since I prefer the action jet games that have zero realism.

I was going to say, no big loss there! :p I too MUCH prefer the action jet games like After Burner (one of my favorites on Master System)!
I actually have a funny story about F-16 Fighting Falcon too though!
*a collective sigh can be heard*
JUST ONE MORE STORY DANG IT!!! :SM17
Anyway, when I was a kid, I LOVED jets (still do)! My dream was to grow up to be a fighter pilot... but that dream was killed due to certain health issues that prevented me access to the armed forces... but that's another story!
Anyway, so my local game store had F-16 Fighting Falcon used for sale, and I jumped on the opportunity to buy it! OK, so I take it home, and it doesn't work on the Power Base Converter that I was currently using so I didn't have to have my Master System hooked up... The only game I ever found to just flat out NOT WORK on it. No big deal, I hook up the Master System and played it! :( Oh man was I disappointed! It was choppy, ugly and flat out boring! I can take a good sim, but this wasn't a good one IMO! Well, my brother knew a secret about the local game store! Their resident Master System had Alex Kidd built into the system, and the card slot was blown on the console, so if you put a card in, then it would play Alex Kidd in Miracle World instead! So we took the game back and told him that somebody had doctored the game and it wasn't F-16 Fighting Falcon, but rather Alex Kidd! He tested it out, and then gave us our money back!!! :SM14

Hahaha, that's awesome. Guy must have been scratchin his head. "I'll be damned, it does play Alex kidd..." haha.
Good call on that one. F16 is probably one of my least favorite SMS games.

LOL! :SM14 Yeah, that's a funny story Yen!
For those who DON'T know it...
*sigh* I feel like the grandpa who tells all those crazy war/fish stories... just about games instead! :p
Anyway, I was in high school at the time. I had just gotten my drivers license, so it was my junior year. I was still a "rebel" and had a temper/attitude like you wouldn't believe! Of course, I was also a big guy (and by big, I don't mean fat... That would be NOW :p ), so I did a pretty good job of instilling the fear in those I didn't like!
Well, I was just coming out of my "rebel" phase and was starting to calm down and become the enjoyable Hawk we all know and love today... but I could still have my buttons pressed! Well, my brother had this friend (who I didn't really like), and this friend had ANOTHER friend over at his house at the moment. OK, so my brother and his friend are 2 years younger than me... and the other "friend" was 2 years younger than them, so he'd be... 4 years younger than me! :p Yeah, a punk middle schooler! Anyway, my brother and his friend were talking on the phone about Mortal Kombat! Well, if you know me, then you know I LOVE me some Mortal Kombat! I knew everything about the game and constantly put a whoop-up on everyone at the arcades! :5scofla124843: Well, this kid comes and starts talking to my brother's friend about this hidden character called "Spectrum" the multi-colored ninja! Well, he knew it was bunk, but my brother called me in to ask if it was legit or not. I told him heck no, that's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard... and then the kid says, "Yeah, well he's an idiot and doesn't know anything about Mortal Kombat!"

HAWK SMASH!!!
I told my brother to get in the car, because we were going to pay this kid a visit! So my brother tells his friend we are coming over, and his friend KNOWS me, so he's ready for the all out onslaught that's about to occur and anxiously awaits our arrival!
We pull up to his house, and I go up to the door, his friend answers and the kid sees me towering over him and he SCREAMS while running up the stairs to lock himself in the bathroom! Well, I played his little game and faked leaving only to stand right around the corner from the bathroom door. When he finally opened the door, I busted out, grabbed him, took him kicking and screaming outside and threw him in the back of my car! He's yelling and screaming as I speed all around town, effectively scaring the crap out of this kid! I finally got my fill, and he had since apologized a million times claiming me the all knowing master of everything Mortal Kombat, so I took him back to my brothers friends house, let him out, and said if he EVER crossed me like that again, then he was going to REALLY wish he hadn't! He BOLTED while my brother and his friend CRACKED UP! I kept a mean face until we left, but I laughed my @$$ off once we were gone!
Of course the kid grew up to be some huge basketball player, but he always respected me after that! :SM14
Yeah, I've probably signed my death warrant with that one! :p

Hahaha, o man. That kid must have been so scared. Ahh, shit, I love those kinda stories. I can't believe you took the trip to torment him, but it sounds like it was worth it. He was probably too ashamed to tell anyone that it happened, hahaha.
Edit: I'm working around our blocked ports.....at least until 1 PM or so. I'm keeping a VPN open to one of our slower California stores. They don't open until 10 or 10:30 Pacific time, so that gives me guilt-free Radio Sega until then.

Someone just played Haya Oh from Space Harrier. I love this tune. I still remember running around like a jerk listening to this from the sound test.
