I'm pulling for the Bears because they've been my second favorite team in the NFL for as long as I have been around because I was a HUGE Walter Payton fan!!! Of course, this makes the game Sega related because when Sega made Walter Payton football on the Master System I just HAD to have it because of the fact that I was a HUGE Walter Payton fan! It turned out to be one of my favorite games on the system, and definitely one of my most played games for sure (topped only by Space Harrier I believe)! Walter Payton was one of the most talented and classiest people to ever play the game, and when he declined moving up the organ donor list because to save his own life in favor of saving someone elses life... Man, talk about a class act! I cried when he died.

I remember when he was still playing (I was in elemetary school), and I used to cut class to go to the library and read this book about him! I must have read it 50 times! :^O I remember watching him play and it just amazed me at the things he could pull off, and he never acted like he was better than everyone else (even though he was)! I also remember his final game against the Redskins and thinking about how the game was losing a legend!

Anyway, I know he isn't around anymore, but it's just the reason I like the Bears so much (but I have to always go for the Cowboys... and I'm sure everyone else hates me for it)! I've just been in Dallas my whole life, and I'm one that ALWAYS roots for the home team... And "fair weather fans" bug me to no end! X-(
