I'm just going to make this thread the main hub for the Saturn reviews I'm doing around here. I'll hold polls for what to review, take any requests, etc. from here (so the board doesn't get all cluttered). So... there you go.

Since Hyper Duel is already going up tonight (need a few more screenshots, already have 25 though, :SM14 ), I'm debating what I should review next. The options are as follows:

Crows: The Battle Action for Sega Saturn - A very bizarre beat 'em up from Athena with SD (super-deformed) characters. Very pretty game and one of the most obscure titles on the system.

Astra Superstars - Insane 2D fighter from Sunsoft that takes place in the air! Easily one of the pinnacles (if not THE pinnacle) of the Saturn's 2D power. Will also include a couple of videos of fights so you guys can see the zaniness!

And there you go. So... vote.

I guess I'll go ahead and say that Crows will be going up tonight. When they were tied I just went ahead and took the pictures of Crows... and I just need to make one more run through the game for good measure before I do it. So tonight after work, I will be doing that.

Astra Superstars I will try to get up sometime over the weekend. Promise!!! :)


Don't know what I'll review after that. Any requests? I'm leaning towards Super Tempo. I know Tryrush Deppy will be done soon... but thats currently with my 'rents, so it will have to wait. Tukai!! Shooting Slots is another good one though.

Prikura Daisasuken - A very cute isometric shooter. Amazing graphics and pretty good gameplay. Very cool game.

Super Tempo - Awesome platformer-esque game. Very cool 2D graphics as well.


Granted, I guess someone could point out that Crows got reviewed before Astra and polls are pointless... but... you know. :.

Alright guys, Keio Flying Squadron 2 is up!! Sorry the pictures are kinda shitty, its a very bright game and my phone camera doesn't work well with that. Hopefully Super Tempo looks better.

I may also post that Planet Joker review tonight as well... maybe...
