The OST isn't complete, it's missing a few tracks, most notably the two or three or four by Deavid Soul, I believe. Am I missing more (aside from the few that were added to the US version--for good or ill, I got those with the pre-order sampler), and does anyone know where I can get them? Here's a track listing of what's on it:
1. Let Mom Sleep - Hideki Naganuma
2. Humming the Baseline - Hideki Naganuma
3. That's Enough - Hideki Naganuma
4. Everybody Jump Around - Richard Jacques
5. Sneakman - Hideki Naganuma
6. Bout the City - Reps
7. Mischievous Boy - Castle Logical
8. Sweet Soul Brother - Hideki Naganuma
9. Rock It On - Hideki Naganuma
10. Yellow Bream - F-Fields
11. Electric Tooth Brush - Toronto
12. Funky Radio - B.B.Rights
13. Moody's Shuffle - Hideki Naganuma
14. Grace & Glory - Hideki Naganuma
15. Jet Set Medley - Hideki Naganuma
16. Jet Set Station - Toronto feat. DJ-K
17. Jet Set Groove #1 - Hideki Naganuma
18. Jet Set Groove #2 - Hideki Naganuma
I seem to recall an ancient IGNDC article about this but I can't seem to find it.

Good question. I can't check now, but I'll take a look at what I have when I get home.
This Wiki shows what's on the actual games. Finding a full soundtrack sounds like the issue:

I'm not sure if 100% of the tracks were released on official soundtracks. I own the games and downloaded most (if not all) of the tracks. If you want, I can check what I have and throw them on a file sharing site somewhere. I'll let you know when I get home.

from what i see and remember, its missing cibo matto and the guitar vader tracks.Cibo Matto din't have any tracks in the first game.
I have all of Guitar Vader's CDs, remixes, etc. They're such an awesome band. It's sad that they've never gotten much of a career going (still work day jobs and all that).

birthday cake wasnt on it?
i was pretty sure it was.No sir, that was JSRF.
I have all of Cibo Matto's music, too, and Miho Hatori's solo CD.
EDIT: yeah guitar vader is pretty fucking awesome. i know you love them, as well as GLAY! :pI never said anything about GLAY. I'm not a J-pop fan in general, but Guitar Vader aren't your typical J-rock band.

Ah, Guitar Vader! Right! I knew I had forgotten someone... Very nice. Thanks a bunch. Anyone know where I can get the Deavid Soul tracks?

This is wierd, I popped in my JSRF soundtrack and pulled up the playlist...it had listed a number of songs that weren't even there. If you click on them, they'll play the track from the OST.
2. Ill Victory Beat - The Latch Brothers
3. I'm Not a Model - Russel Simins
4. Me Likey The Poom Poom - The Latch Brothers
5. Birthday Cake - Cibo Matto
6. Latch Brother Bounce - The Latch Brothers
7. Count Latchula = The Latch Brothers
8. Aisle 10 - Scapegoat Wax
9. Koto Stomp - The Latch Brothers
10. Rockin' the Mic - The Latch Brothers
The rest are written as Unknown Artist. :SM15
