Make a Sonic Shuffle Wii!
I loved Sonic Shuffle. I know it got a lot of hate, but I thought it was a blast. Granted, if you set the jewel count too high the game took hours and hours and hours, but damn it was such a cool game. After playing the party games on Sonic and the Secret Rings, I would LOVE to see a new Sonic Shuffle on the Wii, cel-shaded graphics and all!!!!

All this sega talk makes me wish my mom had splurged on both the nintendo and sega. I only had a genesis, but my bird chewed through the cords.
I got to play a Dreamcast a bunch and I LOVED that one. I would actually think about buying one now.
With Sonic, I've only played a couple of games, but they were fun.
Sonic games used to be a blast.
These days its just like :SM8
Though I liked the 360 one alright. The Wii one is growing on me... slowly...

I love the Wii and don't think it's a gimmic.. but I grew up on Nintendo, so I admit I can be a bit of a fangirl, though not to the point where I don't love other systems, too. SNES has always been my favorite system, but the 360 is a damn close second.
I read your review of the Wii Sonic and though 'meh. I want it anyway.' :p
Well, I mean, I like the Wii, and I really think it has a lot potential. I just felt that the controls were kinda "forced" in Secret Rings. But like I said, its growing on me, slowly but surely. Must collect fire emblems to get all the party stuff.
Granted, I'm finding the Wii works great for party stuff. Wario Ware Smooth Moves, Wii Sports, and the Party section for Secret Rings have all been a blast with a group of people. I need to get Wii Play, and after that I imagine I'll get Super Paper Mario.
But yeah, more substantial games and less hurting of games to implement the controller would be nice. The DS went through the same thing back in the day though, so I was kinda expecting it anyways.

I also love the DS. I wasn't sure what to make of the stylus and I though the mic was kinda stupid (well, I still do. I play my Wii in public and feel dumb as hell blowing into it. wtf, nintendo!!), but overall, the DS has been pretty cool. And the stylus makes menus so much easier.
Did you like Zelda on the Wii? What did you think of the controls for that?
I think Nintendo did a very good job with Zelda on the Wii. Thats definitely a shining example of how the controller can work FOR a game and not against it.
The mic on the DS is just... wow. A lot of weird memories with that. Like, yelling into the mic for Feel the Magic, having to blow into the mic to inflate balloons in Mario Kart DS, and my favorite was in Mega Man Battle Network 5 you could "cheer on" Mega Man if he got low on life and it would power him up or something, so my roomate and I are chillin' watchin' some movie and I'm suddenly, "Go Mega Man!"
:SM14
But yeah, after the DS any handheld I play must have two screens and a touch screen. That was sheer genius on Nintendo's part.

lol, 'Go Mega Man!' That's awesome. I think I need to get that game now. It would be awesome to play in bed while your SO is sleeping.
As long as you cheer, clap, and do it in as high pitch a voice as possible.
'Twas a good game though. I really liked it.

Sadly, I have the high pitched voice down pat. I sound like a 6 year old.
Well there you go. I'm sure Mega Man will be very happy and your SO will be very... surprised/confused/angered/etc.

No SO, so I'll have to save the game for another time. ;)

yeah really I remember first playing Mario Kart battle with my brother and he said you have to blow into the DS to inflate the balloons. WTF DS has a mic??????????
