I know these are pretty common games, but for $40 shipped, I just bought them without thinking. I don't even have a Saturn anymore, lol..and I don't have shelf space either :( ...for some reason I though an import copy of nba jams was kinda funny, lol.

cut and paste from the sales thread...as I just bought them about 5 minutes ago, lol...

good idea? bad idea?

NBA Jam, Sonic Jam, Manx TT, Destruction Derby, Virtua Racing, Off World Interceptor Extreme, Puzzle Bobble 2 X, Vatlva (1 opened, 1 sealed, Victor JVC), Enemy Zero, Dynamite Deka, Baku Baku Animal, Dead or Alive, Space Harrier, Daytona USA, Clockwork Knight, Fighters Megamix, Fighting Vipers, Sonic R, Mortal Kombat 2, The Horde and Last Bronx.

Dead or Alive + Space Harrier =

All the other games are cool too... but most of 'em have US versions. But I'd say it was worth it just for DoA and Space Harrier. :)

I impulsively bought "Battle Arena Toshinden URA" a few months ago. Everyone's always said the PlayStation version is vastly superior, but I don't care. I loved the Saturn one anyway.

Outside of that, I also have "Dead or Alive" for Saturn. Don't have "Space Harrier" though. My other imports include "Slayers Royal", "Policenauts", "Enemy Zero", and... I don't remember what the others are.

worth $2 each? Honestly, I kinda miss my saturn and just bought this without thinking.

Hopefully I will get to play them someday, lol...

Some good games in there. Plus you got Kirk Cameron offering his superior acting skills in The Horde. Are the voices dubbed for the JP version?

I have no idea...I have never heard of that game. I'll let you know when I find a saturn.

My thoughts. Most are good choices, but like JP said you can find these in the US.

Most likely not for $2 each shipped, but I do like the look of the US cases better and the storyline helps in some games too, lol. I usually seem to go import though...not sure why.

I am very glad I had guardian heroes in US format at one time, as I enjoyed the story in that game. Most of my imports in the past have been fighting games.

Yeah. They packaged it with Afterburner in the US as the "Sega Ages" collection or something. I think Working Designs published it, oddly enough.

22 games for 40 bucks? That's less than two dollars per game. And I say that Sonic Jam, Fighting Vipers, Last Bronx, Enemy Zero, Fighter's Megamix and DOA are worth that money alone. Don't get any buyer's remorse now. Get yourself a modded Saturn and get going.

While it is true you can find these in America your stuck with those huge eyesore cases and black and white manuals.

You don't need to mod a saturn to play imports. In fact, mods won't even enable you to play imports. Just burns. A region converter cart will do the trick.

Frog, perhaps you're thinking of chips. Mod switches will let you play imports all right.

Oh, yes. I had never known anyone who had added a switch to their saturn, since the carts are so availible.

Switches are totally the way to go. Fuck carts.

Action replay Plus 4 mb is the way to go!

Switches are way better. And they don't fuck up your cart drive over time.

I like mod switches. I have one on my GameCube. But when someone says "modded Saturn" I still think chipped, not switchmodded.

I've always used a 4mb cart for my Saturn, but switches sound ideal. Well, understanding Nihongo would probably be ideal, but I digress =P

Awesome deal NGT... Last Bronx X3
