I haven't played LLS, but if you're interested in early Nex/Gau stuff, you should also play Wolfteam's games, as Gau/Nex (particularly in the early days of Ranger X) were formed almost entirely from Wolfteam staff. They made a lot of good games on the X68000, most of which had pretty good Genesis ports.

I remember a preview of it in Gamefan. They bitched about how great the game looked early on and then how average it looked later in the game. Like they got lazy. I always thought it looked pretty good from screens but have no idea how it played. JP? He must have it.
