Why the name change? Sol-Deace -> Sol-Feace

Talking about Wolfteam had me thinking about this again since I was wondering WAY back when the game came out... but anyway, anyone know the reason? *cough*Frog*cough*

I wish I knew, but I don't. I can only conjecture it was some kind of potential legal issue like why Duke Nukem is spelled Duke Nukum in some versions of the game. The original X68000 version was called Feace, and then the Sega CD version came second, and was still called Feace, and then the Genesis version with the Deace name was the last to be released (Most sites you'll find says the Genesis one was the "original" but they're idiots). So that would be my guess.

God I fucking love that soundtrack, though. Sakuraba is a legend.

Damn straight! I was listening to it today actually! That discussion got me in the mood! Man, when I got the Sega CD, Sol-Feace was easily my most played game... I take that back... If each game on the 4-in-1 disc count together, then I probably played that more... But dang, I loved Sol-Feace! :flirt:

Speaking of the Sega CD, remember what all came packed with the system when it first came out?

Those were the days...nowadays you're lucky to find a pack-in game and a controller ^^;;
