He's great. I didn't realize he had a hand in Portrait of Ruin until I finished the game.

He got a lot of ball busting for the Oasis games, but I thought they sounded nice and heroic. They had a good fantasy world tone throughout. People just want to hear the same old stuff from Revenge of Shinobi, SoR, and ActRaiser. Good musicians don't like being stagnant. I'm glad he never seemed to hold himself down with the critic's complaints.
