They don't really care about us.

Michael Jackson's HIStory is the most under appreciated (from what I've read) albums he made. It really is a good one. Last know recorded rap of Notorious B.I.G.

Here's the song ... with a fan made vid.
This Time Around feat. Notorious B.I.G. Non-credited too.

IMO Michael picked the wrong songs to release as singles.

Here's some more.

Money with the fan adding rap in the beginning ... why don't know.

And don't get me started on Blood on a Dance Floor. That album was awesome for dancing too.

Shinji - since your in the know with Music. Why was it not more widely acclaimed or highly popular?

he was fading, the first big scandal was still fresh, it was a double cd which hurt sales, he was getting whitier, and the first single, scream, was really different from his usual music. Very edgy, and awesome video.

his public image was getting destroyed since the middle of the dangerous tour.

I understand that part, but what about the music critics? What did they see wrong with it? Or did you state that with the it was different from his other work.

Strangers in Moscow is the one that's the ending cred music in Sonic 3, if anyone missed that post back on the CSB.

dunno. music critics are stupid most of the time when someone tries to do something different.

like with pinkerton. they said it was shit, and now its considered a masterpiece. go figure.

I have always liked Michael Jackson's music.
Same here. Nice to know there are others who aren't so brainwashed by the media and know true artistry when they see an hear it :)

HIStory's one of his best albums imo; might be a little too personal or intense for some though. Blood on the Dance Floor? Now THAT had some funky tracks. :D

I was unsure if anyone here liked him or not. Thank god there are people out there that still enjoy his music.

Blood on a Dance Floor was VERY TRIPPY!

Also any news on his new album coming out this year?
