Teemu Selanne to Philly?
HOLY SHIT! (http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=8519)
Bill Meltzer is confirming the rumor. It's still early to tell, but Holy Shit if it happens.

All I know is my Islanders are losing everyone. Blake, Smyth, Poti and Kozlov. :(
I like who they signed and it will keep them under the cap, but I hope they play well.

Yeah other than Buffalo getting raped ... the Isles are getting DP'ed by the league.
So, like Al Morgantti said ... what exactly was the lockout for? I thought the lockout was to stop THIS!

I don't think there is anything to really worry about.
The Sabres are gonna be fine. Roy, Afinogenov and Vanek are still pretty good offensive players. The defense core is basically intact. Miller is still getting better and the players that they get from the minors to replace Drury and Briere will probably be better equipped to deal with physical play.
The Islanders... I'm not sure what is gonna happen this season as it pertains to them. They did lose a lot of people. Fortunately two of those are useless pieces of crap like Yashin and Poti. It's tough to say if Guerin, Sim and Comrie can replace Blake, Smyth and Kozlov (I doubt it), but hopefully Satan and Sillinger have better offensive totals and rebound from their crappy last season. They can only hope DiPietro and Dubie stand on their heads......
In the end, teams that have good scouting will continue to be good and the rest will suck ass and have to overpay for free agents....
(And yes, I posted here due to Advocate's complaining )
