Don't worry, no spoilers.

So I went to a screening of the Bourne Ultimatum last night, and I really enjoyed it. I don't know if anyone is a fan of the movies?

If so, definitely see this one. It's just what you'd expect from a Bourne movie, just more of it. More action, more intense fight scenes and car chases, cooler outwitting of the CIA bad guys.

Also if you're going to see it, I definitely recommend seeing the second movie between now and August 3 when it hits theaters. Ultimatum picks up literally minutes after Supremacy ended.

I saw the first, liked it. Haven't been able to get myself to see the second. I'll try and watch it someday.

Loved one and Two.

Ultimatum looks fantastic.

I can't believe the writer brought out another Bourne novel though. Bourne Betrayal.

I agree also ;)

But it's where the jobs are.

Anyway Advo it's interesting you say that, how many people have read the original Bourne trilogy by Ludlum? Has anyone read any of the new ones by the other guy?

What's really interesting about Bourne Supremacy (the second one) is that it had absolutely nothing to do with the book at all, other than the name. Ultimatum continues this tradition (something of a shame because I loved the assassin's duel between Bourne and the Jackal in the book).

Ludlum worked on the first and second novel. His Co-Writer for Supremacy was Eric Van Lustbader; he took over after Supremacy. He wrote the next 3, Ultimatum, Legacy, and Betrayal.

Are you sure about that? I am pretty sure Ludlum authored Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum, and Lustbader authored Legacy and the recently published Betrayal. Did he have a hand in the movie scripts maybe?

Is this movie still enjoyable if you haven't seen the 2nd film?

The movie's still enjoyable to anybody who likes action movies. It's got great fights, car chases, and stays relatively distant from "cartoony" violence. The plot is just an excuse for the action.
