I remember reading this story in grammer school and loving it. I can't wait to see this.

They did, but I dont believe its all CGI. Some wierd artistic look they're going for I think.

300 = Frank Miller graphic novel
Beowulf = 1100 AD Anglo Saxon poem

why they both have to have similar styles in the movie is just a way to cash in on 300's success.

To be fair, the graphic novel is an interpretation of an ancient legend, based on historical events.

Well...UBI Soft is making the game, so it could be decent...

As for the movie, Beowulf is awesome stuff. The Dover translation blew, but I've reread some of it in a much better translation and really go into it. Robert Zemickis (sp) is directing this, isn't he? I heardthat it was all CG, last I read...suppose I should do more research. :p I was hoping it wouldn't ape 300, though...
