so two episodes in. Not a lot of stuff has happened. Pretty much everyone has new life following the ending events of season 1. The new twin siblings from Mexico seem pretty interesting. I like their story so far. Peter is back and dealing with shady Irishmen. For those who have seen the first two episodes thoughts so far?

I dislike the story thus far of the twins. It's taking too damn long and nothing is happening. They need to hurry up and do something already.

Hiro's FINALLY got interesting and the episode ends. :|

How the fuck is Nathan still alive?

Haitian is back, yay!!!

Hiro's dad is dead. :( Petrelli bitch shoulda been the one to die.

How do all these people STILL not know each other? :|

Claire is moving along slowly, but between her, her dad, and Mohinder it's been entertaining enough.

Off to a slow start, but I think it's starting to pick up.

yeah I'm still wondering how Nathan is still alive. Gotta love his ugly ass beard haha.

WTF is up with that scene where Nathan looks in the mirror and sees his face burned up?

Bruhaha69

Not sure on that one. Maybe that's all part of the "why the fuck is he alive" question. Maybe the big-ass beard is covering most of his burns?

so far the main plot seems recycled some what. secret group starting to kill off old generation heroes. Looking for paintings of the future. Just sounds like the same stuff some what although I still enjoyed the first two episodes.

That doesn't make sense since hair can't grow on burned skin Im pretty sure. So that means, if that is what he really looks like, how is he hiding it?

Also, the whole Peter memory loss thing needs to get resolved fast. It feels like a cop out. OMG WE CREATED A CHARACTER TOO POWERFUL!! HE HAS TO FORGET EVERYTHING!!!

Maybe Nathan has a second power. The power to grow hair on burnt flesh!

They won't reveal this until the season finale. I should have marked that as a spoiler

last nights episode was alright. Really cheesy ass superman moment. Why did they have to cast a kid who looks just like any other actor who has played Clark Kent who just so happens to be able to fly? Oh well I think that story line is going to get really interesting as he was abducted by Mr. Bennet. :o I saw it from a mile away though :p

Syler was annoying as hell like usual to me. I never find him too interesting.

I'm not really interested in seeing him figure out how to use his powers again. I like how she explained he was alive: A few surgeries, some stitches and you're all better......the fucking guy got stabbed through the heart with a nice sword by a trained swordsman. No few surgeries is fixing that and especially not stitches. He should have been dead. Honestly, I just feel his story should be over.

Peter not opening the box annoyed me, too. Way to prolong his stay in forgetful land. I didn't feel like last season dragged on at all, but this season is seeming much more soap opera like and I do not like that direction at all.

I do like Hiro's story so far.

Claire's story is predicatble so far. As soon as they showed West's marks, I knew the man who got him was her dad.

I dunno. I'm still watching, but it's not off to that great a start.

yeah, Syler should be gone. Bring something new to the show. Peter is probably going to turn to into an evil character, but then look at the box or start remembering what he was. bleh

I agree with bru for the most part. Sylar should be dead, and prolonging Peters recovery pisses me off. But I also am pissed off by Hiro's story, he finished what he needed to do, now they're just wasting time. :|

Claire is meh. Mohinder and Cop-dude have yet to do anything interesting. It's all getting very assy.

Why get rid of Sylar if he is pawn in the chess piece? His powers are nullified in that room. So is he part of the Company now? Is The Company the one ridding the world of the "Original 9"?

Hiro staying makes sense.

Kensi is still unsure of his powers.
Kensi is english ... Linderman was english.
The Real Kensi is a flanaderer. So, him leaving that girl has a 50/50 chance. I still think Hiro becomes Kensi. Peter not regaining his memory serves a better purpose. He seems to have better control of them and he's pulling out each power instinctivly, rather than thinking about which one to use. In a way when he does regain his memories he will be better off. Also, he awoke in a storage container. In his mind he has to think that he was bad in someway, so why NOT repress those memories.

I love the buildup for this season. Its better this year than last year. AND since the writers have started that this arc ends in December. And a new one begins in March. I love it so far.

I bet the HRG that the kid mention; is not Bennett, but rather the guy that can turn anything to gold or metal.

The Matt/Molly storyline is the essence of this season. Which is why its so played down. Comic writing at its best. In a comic they hint and tease with the reader. They may throw some cornball story in there, but in reality its the most essential part. So, when the "Big Reveal" happens you all shat your pants.

The Nikki/Jessica thing reminds me of X-Men and how all the mutants betrayed their own to get the cure of the Legacy Virus. the boy being dropped off at his grandmom will introduce two more "special powers" beings.

So in conclusion ...

Read the online comic to fill in the gaps.
Season one was like the comic Rising Stars, and Season two is reminding me of Identity Crisis.
I love this show.

Also, the bro and sis story is REALLY getting on my nerves. I don't want to see them again unless they are already in the US.

Yeah, when the West kid mentioned the horned glasses, I knew it could be Bennett or Mohinder's new boss man, but I'm not sure. The art looked more like Bennett and I think it's him. Could be Sylar if he somehow gets control of his power and now has the ability to create whatever illusion he wants.

I shouldn't have to read the extra stuff online to fill gaps IMO. Those things online should just add to the experience but not add anything to the plot.

Anyways interesting prospective advocate. Here is one main thing that is biggest problem for heroes. Having multiple stories in one episode creates a void to the individual stories somewhat. I always felt in season 1 that it was best when the stories finally started to overlap.

BUt as of now ... its 4 months after Kirby PLaza. So, we have to see where they are in that timeframe. Not everyone is going to be teamed up.

Also, its bascially announced that there is a 6th new character with a power and she's the grandchild of Nichell Nicols(in the story).

I bet Linderman is Kensei. I bet Hiro becomes Kensei to keep the Legend. The Haitiasn/Dominicans/whatever trhey are ... is an annoying story, but I bet they are the only ones who can stop Sylar and whoever is controlling him.

The Haitian is actually the only guy I'm truly interested in right now.

you guys still watching? I am but damn its starting to decline

Tonights was good I thought. Bennett's story still very interesting as well as Parkman's dad. Anything company related peaks my interest. As for the the whole saving the world again only this time its a deadly virus for the entire world just sounds like the same damn thing. They even have to have it in NYC of coarse and someone goes in the future and sees what happens I think the writers didn't plan on a season 2 or something because it really feels like the main plot was recycled.

The show is starting to bore me now. There are just too many characters and stories. I mean, Hiro is in a whole frickin 'nother time period. They should've just finished his story in one episode instead of drawing it out as if it's concurrent with the main time period.

I agree with you guys. These episodes have just been boring. They're dividing their time up way too much with all these characters and not getting a lot accomplished in each episode. It feels like we're getting about 2 minutes worth of new story out of everyone's individual story, per episode. They did a bit of that last year, but everyone tied together so it wasn't so disjointed. Now, they're all going in different directions and it seems sloppy. Even if everything comes together in the end, the road to get there is a boring and repetitive one.

Everything was much more clever and fast paced last season but now I feel I'm watching a soap opera more than a sci-fi/fantasy-drama.
