Thats actually a very smart move. To time price cuts with major releases. Helps drive the hardware even more IMO then a price cut alone.

I don't expect a worldwide price drop but it would be nice for Canadians if they considered the current dollar value and didn't have it priced $20+ higher than in the US.

Hmmm. No good. They're wmv's and even zipped, the outweigh the zip limit by about 10 times (Over 3 megs....actually closer to 4). Too bad. They're pure rage.

Seriously though, the PS3 will probably have 2-3 more price cuts before the Wii gets one.
