I don't know when I will get around to playing it as I'm already bombarded with enough console stuff to not upgrade my PC for a while. It looks fantastic though and open-ended first-person shooters are among my favourite kind of game. It's good to see all the positive reviews.

Yeah, their main complaint seemed to be that the third act is really different from the first two, but frankly, it sounds cool as hell to me. I will find out soon enough.

I finished the game tonight. I'll have my full review up soon, but in short it's pretty damned awesome.

It's like playing a really great action movie. Adrenaline soaked, huge explosions, impossible odds, and non-stop action. The first 2/3 of the game is very deep sandboxy guerrilla warfare, and then the last 3rd switches you from an infiltrator to just fighting for your life and starts throwing every kind of fast-paced action at you. This game is a hell of a ride.

This game has the best action of any FPS ever. Might not have the deep plot or RPG elements of a game like Bioshock, but there's nothing like fighting off 40 guys a helicopter and two tanks with a super suit and crazy ass powers. It's just too much fun.

This game looks awesome but damn, do I wish it had a coop mode. I just love shooters so much more when I can play with buddies(Gears and Halo come to mind).

It will, don't worry. Crytek included the SDK with the game, just like the did with Far Cry, and that had a co-op mod within a couple months.

The bitch of it is that if that does happen, you won't be able to download mods. Which means no co-op. Double edged sword, that.

I wish MS would get their heads out of their asses and allow mods on 360 games.
