Well it seemed obvious enough but microsoft is finally pulling the trigger and brining their own titles from the previous generation to the market place. I believe Sony and Nintendo have been doing this already and finally MS will be too. There are some great titles in this first batch of games they have announced and it'll be interesting to see what else comes down the pipeline.

So far they have announced....

Halo: CE
Psychonauts
Crimson Skies
Fable (not the lost chapters version though, WTF?)
Burnout 3: Takedown
Fuzion Frenzy (I actually really enjoy this game with friends.)
Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex

More info..... Confirmed availability on December 4th. They will also cost 15 bucks each or 1200 points. Seems kinda odd as I can get Halo: CE new for 9.99. There are also a few issues with the games, but honestly they are quite minor in almost all cases.

It's a good idea but yeah, I would rather pick up an actual disc for less money.

The bad part is that they are not making them "better" by adding in achievements and anything else that they really should.

If they are gonna be truly original versions they should only be 800 points or less IMO. Course that would make all the Arcade titles at 1200 points look at little lame.... hmmmmmm maybe this will help "adjust" the points scale and help make evrything cheaper...... Hahahahahahahhahhahaha like that will ever happen.

That's true. I was just talking about how I passed on the game and my original Xbox is dead......might have to do it this way. I do prefer owning the discs and cases, though.

The "CE" in Halo: CE = Combat Evolved

The original title in the Halo trilogy of games. Regarded by some as the best game in the series. Only co-op in split screen offline for the original game. Bungie has made no statements or promises to include any form of online play, versus or co-op at this time.

Personally it would be the shit if they managed to pull off some form of online play over Live. I would love co-op and multiplayer but even one of the two would be awesome. Hell I'll be greedy, give me online co-op, multiplayer and Forge in Halo:CE. Now thats worth 15 bucks IMO! :)

The real problem is that they released a "custom edition" for the PC, so I always think they mean that edition when people say "C.E."

It's actually Championship Edition. It's the same game but now you can play as Balrog, Sagat, Vega, and M. Bison.

When they mentioned "original Xbox" games were going to be available on the market place and then said the manuals were going to be able to be downloaded from xbox.com as pdf files it just sort of made me picture the xbox games and not their ports.

But I never realized CE was custom edition for the PC release so...... that explains me ignorance.
