Live turns 5!!!!!

Xbox Live (http://www.pcworld.com/tags/Microsoft+Xbox+Live.html) (which turns five on Thursday) surpassed the 8 million member mark -- the most of any online console community. In commemoration, Microsoft is offering a free Xbox Live Arcade download between 12:01 a.m. PST on Nov. 15 and 11:59 p.m. PST on Nov. 16.

Furthermore, every active member who joined the service in 2002 will receive 500 MS Points for free.

I would think so long as its an account that started in 2002, the actual gamertag would not make a difference.

I have had the same account and same gamertag since I played my first Ghost Recon game on Live back in January of 2002. Ahhhhhhhhh the memories. If only Shinji would actually get on Live, might be able to relive some of those great moments in the swamp. :)

Actually, now that I think about it, I said "fuck it" to live for awhile. I don't think I got it right away because I could care less about it being good to play together.

Live started in November 2002.....so if you got on in January it was 2003.


Now I have been on since day one in 2002 with the same gamertag so I best get me some free points!!!!!!

Yeah it sucks when you get soemthing later for free when you already bought it. I had a free Uno code I agev to Tyga and I kinda want that arcade joystick, but I already haev two of the games it comes with...... GRRRRRRRRR should just give us fucking points so we can get whatever we want.

Are you talking about the MadCatz stick? If so I have heard nothing but bad reviews for it. Don't waste your money.
