I don't know that this news makes me a happy camper. =/ Activision and Blizzard are so different in their style and philosophies... can a merger possibly be for the better?

Before we know it every major game studio in existence is going to be under the same roof.

I don't think Blizzard Entertainment has anything to do with this. It's just a bizarre name choice for Vivendi's buyout of Activision.

This is insane. My mouth dropped open when I read it over at Kotaku. What can EA do to top this one? Let Atari/Infogrames buy them out? :p
