Since E3 is like, 2 weeks away or so, lets post up our top 10 dream E3 announcements, and... stuff. :p


5. Arcade perfect Killer Instinct for XBLA - 'Twould be teh awesome!

4. Killer Instinct 3 - It would be more awesome than the above. KI HATERS BE DAMNED!!!!!

3. US localizations for Raiden Fighters Aces and Ketsui - For then I wouldn't have to purchase a Japanese 360. :nod:

2. New game from Yukio Futatsugi for the 360 - For he is the God of game developers.

1. Lost Odyssey 2 - Because Lost Odyssey is still my GOTY despite Ninja Gaiden 2 being the shizznit.

If you can think of 10, feel free to do 10. :p

Since this is about "Dream" announcements, I'm not going to waste them on stuff that seems probable like some KI stuff I could play on PC anyway. I'm going to go with long-shots that are still in the realm of possibility:

5. Little Big Adventure III (could happen, but not this year).
4. Neverhood 2 (movie has been discussed, so it's possible)
3. Concrete info on Citizen Seige
2. Treasure unveils a non-sequel, non-licensed game
1. Shenmue III. Always. Until it happens.

Let's get the more possible ones out of the way first...

1. Blu-Ray 360
2. Price drop for 360 - $199 Arcade - $299 Premium - $399 Elite (all w/Blu-Ray)
3. Gears of War 2 - 4 player co-op online confirmed. Cliffy B promised more info about co-op eventually. E3 is a perfect place for it.


For some not so possible stuff..

1. Bungie announces a new Halo game - squad based where you play as an ODST fighting the Covenant for an entire half of the game and the other half follows the same time line but you are an Elite. In which you start fighting humans but the Covie civil war starts and then you are fighting the Brutes. It would not be split like the Halo 2 campaign (Chief then Arby, Chief then Arby). It would run straight through each storyline and you could start with either one.
2. Toy Commander sequel for 360 (and whatever other console as long as the 360 gets it) - imagine the possibilities on current gen hardware.
3. I have to jump on the Shenmue 3 bandwagon.
4. Star Wars Republic Commando sequel - 4 player co-op online would be a must. I would love to see this on the 360 and the first one screamed for 4 player co-op.
5. MechAssault 3 - at least 6v6 online combat, as well as the ability to play missions like Chromehounds )6 friends against 6 AI mechs).

2. Toy Commander sequel for 360 (and whatever other console as long as the 360 gets it) - imagine the possibilities on current gen hardware.
It's not going to be Toy Commander, but Raynal does have a new game he's working on that will likely be revealed at E3.

I get the same feeling when playing xbox games. There is just something missing from the achievement and integrated xbox live into all the games when playing on the original.

Yes that is the rumor, but until Bungie confirms it we really don't know. Yeah nothing was mentioned in regard to playing as Elites. For me though it would have to include fighting humans. The Arbiter did none of that in Halo 2 during his missions. Probably not a popular direction, but it would be something I would love. Not because it was against the humans, but because it would be correct. The Elites fought and killed many of us, it is just part of the story. :)

1) 2D Metroid. Somewhere. Anywhere. As long as it's 2D.
2) Downloadables for Brawl. I doubt it, but it'd be nice.

1. A Mega-Ton all Halo update which includes...
1a. News that Peter Jacksons Halo title will release holiday 2009.
1b. Bungie releases first teaser trailer for the squad based ODST game.
1c. News that the Halo movie will begin production by years end.
1d. News that Bungie is releasing recreated versions of every Halo map not currently redone already and they will be free.

2. Rockband 2 will have capability to take a store bought cd and "convert" it for use in the game.

3. EA gives keynote apology address that it is a complete bitch, fears 2K more than anything and will give up the NFL license and send a check to every gamer who bought madden this gen. Oh and that they'll be closing up shop, and "willing" their collective account to each of the studios it still has. They will be spun back off with a portion of EA's ill gotten money and allowed to pursue their creative endevours w/o EA.......ever again. :p

4. Nintendo announces a "32x"esque add-on that will allow them to make better looking games. ( I just about ralphed after playing Alien Syndrome.) They will also announce a proper "standard" controller and will be discontinuing the POS that is the classic controller. Initial models make it appear very similar to the 360 pad. :)

5. Ubisoft declares a new state of the art AI group that will consult on all Ubisoft titles. They proclaim this will be the end all be all fix for their craptastic enemy spawning as a result of lazyness and just plain stupidity in the past.

3. Burning Rangers 2, for Wii or 360. Features online co-op play, up to three rangers putting out fires and handling rescues w/a 4th player acting as navigator.

2. Nintendo and SEGA unveil new Mario&Sonic crossover, only this time it's a action/platformer based on the classic designs and jointly developed by Nintendo of Japan Sonic Team Artoon and Prope

1. SEGA announces it's breaking away from Sammy, reinstating all its old teams and getting back into hardware

edit: I forgot to mention Yu Suzuki. It would be great to see his team unveil something new, just to know he's still working. What ever happened to him anyway?
