Well, I just got one off of a local guy for $105. The store sells it for $89.99 + tax, so it's about $97-98 at the store...so I only paid $8 over to get it. It's going for $150 on craigslist

anyways...here's what you get in the box. Game, manual, board, and feet for the board if used on the carpet. The board is syncronized with the wii just like a controller and it's pretty solid feeling. IMO, the balance games are the most fun....but the others are not bad. It's not a hard workout at all...but something I could do after work and still feel like I'm doing something (even if I'm really not, LOL)

I'll say a few things. It's pretty fun, but I don't know if I'll do it daily. This is something that I will put on my list of exercises that I do weekly...maybe penciled in 2-3 times per week. I'd also like to say I have horrible balance. I've played sports my whole life and thought I was fine....well, no, lol. I am 29 years old and the wii says I am in the shape of a 33 year old :( Time to get off of my ass, lol.

DDR works better when it comes to burning calories. Yeah, I'm playing DDR to complement my dieting.

I lost 60lbs playing DDR.

And man, Wii Fit is in demand/hard to find too? Nintendo has mastered making crap the hot thing!

I love Grandma's Boy. Despite the fact of the character named "JP". :disgust:

In so far as Wii Fit, I know a ton of people who have it and love it. Apparently it does help your balance out a lot too.

But in so far as healthiness goes, I'll take a solid gym any day of the week (or as I currently do, 5 days a week, :p).

I agree about DDR. First time I played it was completely out of breath.

If you want to get in shape, yeah...go to a gym. If you want to add something fun into your weekly routine of other exercises.....wii fit ..well, fits in nicely and you'll still get in shape. This is definitely not going to get you in shape by itself, lol. I am pretty sure most people know that before buying it.

Yeah I have WiiFit as well and probably only do it like once every two weeks. :p I need to do it 3 times a week for 30+ minutes and I think I would be able to see me reaching my goal of losing 13 pounds in 6 months. Pretty lax goal but when you think of how hard I am pursuing it, its probably best not to set my bar too high!

In the end I like it but also want to see it used in a real game. And no We Ski does not count. :)

DDR really does work. And it's actually fun.

Yeah, I'm dead serious. Went from 250lbs to 190lbs with nothing but DDR. Didn't diet or anything.

Granted, it was when I first discovered DDR so I became obsessed with it. After playing DDR for 7 years it's not very much fun anymore. PIU and ITG help, but all in all dance games have lost their edge for me.

lol, that must have been tough to watch with your buddies. I got a bit of that just for being tall, thin, and into games with my non-gamer buddies. IMO, that movies is hillarious. One of my favs for sure.

Garndma's Boy does indeed rock. Not only does it have a ton of video games and VG humor... its also got lots of 420 action going on. So its double cool in my book.

Hey... You forget your smoking lamp!

Looks like you got your wish, what with Shaun White's Pro Snowboarding or whatever it's called. Looks like it could actually be a lot of fun, based on the e3 demo.

I saw that and it's the only thing I will really miss about wii fit...having that board. Will the snow boarding game come with a board? or will it be sold seperately?

It'll be sold with Wii Fit only, so they make you buy that to get to use it for snow boarding! :p

Right, very true. But im still saying, only way you can get it is to get wii fit, so if you want to fully enjoy those other games, your ganna have to buy wii fit as well.

Well I dont know, it just seems like a good way to make money and to sell wii fit, lol.

Yeah I got that and that would suck. I don't want to buy that game again, lol. I'm guessing they'll sell them with the games. If they sell them seperately only, that might cause an issue, with people buying them up and then others can't play the games unless they pay the inflated ebay/craigslist price. Pretty much just like everything else nintendo has put out for the wii....and the wii.

I just think, either way, we are all screwed, lol. (for now)

Dammit JP! What have you gotten me into! :p

I still cant believe mario kart is hard to find, what kind of bs is that? Not that I have the money to get it right now, but I would like the option to be able to.
