Too Human demo up now

And it's fucking awesome IMO.

The right stick for attacks isn't half as bad as I thought it would be and only had to get used to the juggles... everything else felt very natural.

No.. the co-op is blacked out. But I am definitely down for some Too Human co-op :)

It's not too bad. I've been playing Kingdom Under Fire lately, so I'm more open to the game than I normally would be.

What bothers me is how it is, technically. How long has this thing been in development for and we still have low res blurry textures, unsteady frame rates and awkward looking animations? Unacceptable, as far as I'm concerned. I also don't like the lack of good camera control. Analog stick attacking works alright, but still doesn't feel that great to me. A little sluggish, maybe. Not too sure. I remember seeing quicker combat in a video, so it might just be the low-level character without upgrades, equipment, etc.

I haven't sworn off a purchase, but I wasn't overly impressed by the demo.

I went through the demo three times now.. I'm pretty damn fast at the attacks now.

I think it's more getting used to it's control mechanic than leveling up.

I love it though I may be the only one :).

It seemed to perform like Mass Effect does in terms of framerate and textures... seems fine to me. I do see flaws in it, but nothing I can't look past. I wouldn't give it a perfect score as a result, but I wouldn't let it kill the game either.

Well, what I didn't mention was that I played the demo for over an hour, so there must have been something I liked, haha. I'm gonna play it again and see if my love grows.

One thing I liked a lot was zipping to and from guys, bashing them with a big hammer. That part the combat seems cool.

Yeah, made it so the combat was actually also your evasion technique.. made it more fast paced :)

I played about 20 minutes before newport interrupted me for some chromehounds. ;) The combat is VERY simplistic and it didn't feel like I was doing anything. The inventory system is more confusing than mass effects. Aside from that, It was enjoyable. Definitely not as epic or badass as I would have hoped though. Ill try and finish the demo before I make final judgements.

I really enjoyed the demo, the only thing i really complained about was the camera, a bit annoying, but the rest I enjoyed. I'll end up getting it at some point in the future.

The camera was like Shenmue (hit the button to center the camera behind you)... so I got used to it fairly quickly.

OK, I was wrong, this game is actually seriously damn cool.

I much prefer the gun play to the melee stuff, but even the melee stuff is a lot better than I thought it would be. I think if they polish it up a little bit before its release it'll be damn solid. It'll be damn solid regardless, but it does need a little bit more polish.

Its a good situation, this way I get to experience a little bit more right now and play the wii which i've been wanting to while I havent been able to play nothing on the 360. Soon enough though i'll be able to get the 360 again and by then, lots that i want to play. :D

Apparently there's a way to play the other classes on the demo. Just select champion and switch/button mash A to another class, and apparently it will let you play them. :o
