View Full Version : Did a bit of selling out myself...
I feel like I sold my soul or something... but I broke down and traded in all of my Wii games today. I've still got Wii Sports and the system... and the arcade stick... but that's it. I even got rid of the component cables.
Picked up a 20gig 360 Pro along with Blue Dragon, Chromehounds, Crackdown, Halo 3, and Unreal Tournament 3. And a VGA cable. And a 1-month Live card.
Myself one year ago would kick my ass if I saw me.
I still don't like Halo, but it's like the only game that my friends play online. I have UT3 for the PC, which I'd much rather be playing-- but the community is nonexistent, so I'm really crossing my fingers that it'll have some longevity on the 360.
Anyways, I think that once Soulcalibur IV and Too Human come out I'll stop feeling quite so dirty about the whole thing.
Wow! Congrats koda! Once you get your gamertag up definitely post what it is, and we can play some Crackdown co-op or something.
wow, you must have had a lot of wii games.
It's 'Koda Collider'. I got most of it set up and played a few games of Halo with my buddy, but I'm not really sure where to start with these other games.
This headset seems really, really quiet. I have it turned all the way up but I could barely hear people. I don't think it was like that when I used other peoples'... is there a way to turn up the volume in the dash or something?
Edit: I got almost 300 for my Wii games at Gamestop, and I just paid the rest out of my pocket.

Sometimes the headset is really quiet for me. I wonder if it's because I happen to be playing against peopel who keep the mic too far away. Most of the time it's loud enough, however turning it all the way up it's never nice and really loud. I always just accepted that as the way it is.

Congrats on the purchase. As everyone already knows I love me some Halo 3 (as does Newport) so add me if you want. My GT is all over the place - profile - sig
Plus we still play Chromehounds and I am almost 100% sure we have room in the squad for you if you want. We can give you all kinds of parts and/or cash so you can build a few hounds.

You can set the volume for the headset in the guide as well under personal settings.

Welcome to the darkside. Its actually pretty fun over here too by the way. :p
Besides all that light just makes seeing the TV that much harder with glare and such!

You won't regret your purchase. The Wii is nice and all, but serious gaming is not its forte.

Great choice :)

Yeah, it's got some great games but it was never my primary machine. I'm a PC guy for the most part, along with my handhelds.
I added a couple of you guys to my friends list. I'll write the other tags down and add them after work tonight.
And yeah, my headset volume was already at 10 in the personal settings, so I don't really know what the deal is.
