How big is the demo? Over a gb?

1.2 gigs. It is only 15 minutes long as well. The full game must take up all 50 gigs.

HOLY. FUCK. My eyes are bleeding from looking at this. Has it ever happened that the best looking game of a gen came out in the third year of said gen? No fucking way is anything close to this in terms of graphics. I love the weight of the gun, the enemy AI is great and this is only on normal. I am dreading playing on elite. Head shots are super statisfying and the graphics are just out of this world. I think that next gen people are going to be comparing games to this. The particle effects are crazy good. This game is worth the $599 by itself I think. These next 3 weeks are going to feel like forever.

I just played through the demo. Hands down the best looking videogame I have ever seen. Even better looking than MGS4 and Gears 2. I had a lot of fun with the demo, it plays great, I just need to get my FPS skills back. I also love the guns, and the cover system is pretty great too. I can't wait until the full version comes out.

I haven't heard anyone say Halo was the best of a generation. It was one of the best launch games ever though IMO.

Every game has been done already, so to say an FPS isn't deserving of that honor is kind of silly. What game is? An RPG? A racer? An action game? A dumb gimmick game? (Wii Sports). They have all been done already, so any genre is as deserving as the next.

Killzone 2 blew me away, just from the demo, I can't imagine how good the actual game is.

FPS are always some of the highest rated games, they get the biggest budgets, they have the highest production values. Killzone 2 has been in development for well over 5 years at a cost of like 50 million, and it shows. It definitely has a chance to be the best game this gen.
