TOM CLANCY'S H.A.W.XTM DEMO AVAILABLE FEBRUARY 11 ON XBOX LIVE® AND FEBRUARY 12 ON PLAYSTATION® NETWORK

LONDON, UK – February 10, 2009 – Today Ubisoft announces that an official Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X™ demo will be available for download for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft on Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network beginning on February 11, 2009 and for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system on the PLAYSTATION® network beginning on February 12, 2009. The demo will be also available for Windows-based PCs beginning on February 26, 2009.

In this demo, players will dominate the skies for the first time and battle planes, tanks and amphibious assaults and have the opportunity to dogfight with other elite pilots in a stunning panoramic boss scene.

Key features of the H.A.W.X demo:

• Co-op enabled for up to 4 players – Jump in/Jump out

• Gain experience points and unlock up to three real, licensed planes in the demo:
o F-16A Fighting Falcon
o SU-35 Super Flanker
o AV-8B Harrier II

• Choose between two different game modes:
o Normal – Default control type
o Expert – Allows full control over the aircraft in “Assistance Off” mode

• Two heart-pounding missions:
o Operation: Off Certification (Training mode)
• Learn the skills of an elite pilot in “Assistance Off” mode and pull extreme maneuvers

o Operation: Glass Hammer (Rio De Janeiro)
• Take flight over GeoEye technology (the world’s best satellite data), and witness Brazil like never before
• Learn to use the Enhanced Reality System in “Assistance On” mode, where your plane’s computer calculates the best interception course for you to follow to attack an enemy, evade a missile or hit a ground target

Nice! Looking forward to try it.

I've been looking forward to this one. I haven't played a really good action flight game for awhile now.

looking good, interesting that clancy made a jet fighter game. i always suck at these things though, and it's not the same without a decent flight stick.

I've never played an action flight game. I'll try the demo, but I have a feeling I'll suck ass at this type of game. I've never been very good at driving in games, as Tony can attest to, and I got disoriented during the flight part of Halo 3.

God damnit, part of me wants this game to suck. I really don't need another game to buy right now.

Certain portions of my family are more excited about this than they should. The PC version is gonna look ridiculous. Hello two ATi 4870 X2 via Crossfire FTW. I should dust off the flight stick....

How did you guys like this? Doesn;t control quite how I;d hoped, but it's got some unique aspects for this type of game. I'll play the demo a couple more times, but as of right now, it's not remaining in my must-buy list.

Looks great, thats for sure, control is funky though yeah, and then when you go into that one mode for that differnt look, controlling that is hard, but its interesting and I dont mind it at all. Takes some getting use to for sure, I still enjoyed the demo. I'll still get it, but yeah, when im done with this game, i'll still be going back to free flying on Over G, doing my more realistic flying and touch and goes! :p

I definitely liked that it runs at 60 fps.....makes the plane movement look really nice, especially with the assist stuff turned off. I get the feeling it'll be one of those games that you just need to really get comfortable with (the controls) before you start to have a lot of fun.

Hmm, doesn't sound very encouraging . . .
