I cant believe all that these guys did to make it happen, only to have NoA's lawyers shut it down. It is to bad, I hate that games sell for so much on ebay. I wish that whole market would disappear. PD:S and Radiant Silvergun and any other expensive games should be released online so people can play them on the cheap.

Wow..... No Mother 2/Earthbound for VC is some lame ass shit and for some lame ass reasons. Nintendo can go fuck themselves. Between this and Wii Music, the big N doesn't deserve anybody's money anymore.

This makes me sad.. but it's not like I don't own the game for my SNES, and it's not like we have enough space for it on the Wii.

It sucks that there's a solution, but the company won't allow the changes to be made. I loved the music in the game, but I think it would be worth changing some of it so it can be released on the VC.

Without knowing what the specific objections are, it's hard to take sides, but if the Monty Python sample was never cleared, for example, I can see how that could be a problem. If they're just worried about stuff that just sounds sort of similar, someone needs to pop in the Doom soundtrack for them and point out that it's managed to skate for 15 years.
