First XBLA game in a while that will be worth the price. It sucks so much that everything is $15 now. I will pick this up at somepoint though. I loved the first one and will be interested to see the changes in this one.

So all XBLA titles are 15 now? What happened to the 800 and 600 point games?

I think the last title I bought was Marathon, and it was only 800 points. What a fucking steal that is.

Since Briad almost everything has been $15. That game was overpriced, and everything else is following suit. Still cant believe a fucking R-type game was $15, what a joke that was.

Yeah I was balking at that myself. I think it's sad that downloadable games are starting to be overpriced, and developers are holding back content so they can sell it later (Megaman 9, anyone?). It's no longer as cool as it used to me. I still remember the first time I play geometry wars on the 360, I thought XBLA was so awesome.

I feel exactly the same way. XBLA was great when it started, so many $5 games. I bought a ton of games that normally I wouldnt have because of the price. Now I almost never buy anything because it all feels like a rip off. I will stick to PSN for my downloadable game needs for the most part. New release there are under $15 most of the time. Flower was only $10 and Noby Noby boy is only going to be $5. I am really curious to see what Fat Princess will cost, that game looks fantastic.

I love the PSN, I like how they are trying to be competitive with their pricing vs. XBLA. GTi Club is a fucking amazing coinop conversion upgraded to HD and it was only 10 bucks!

Am I the only one who doesn't feel these are overpiced? Ten years ago we'd be paying $50+ for a lot of these games. I can understand wanting low prices for ports of old games, but I think $15 is a good price for a new game. Especially Puzze Quest.

It's a digital download tho, 15 does seem overpriced. Hell, I didn't even think SSF2HD was worth 15 (I bought it anyway). I'd rather pay 15 for an original title, some of these remakes now are ridiculous at over 10 dollars, like rtypes.

Like I said, I have no problem with complaints on old ports, but games like braid and puzzle quest galactrix are new and GREAT games. I don't see the issue. As for the digital download complaint, I just don't get it. I pay for games, not plastic.

I have no problem with a game like PQ costing $15, but when a game like Braid or R-type does it is definitely overpriced. Castle Crashers was also worth the $15 IMO, but most games are not, and when XBLA started out with almost all games costing $5 and a couple of $10 games $15 for almost everything seems a bit much. Death Tank is this weeks game, and it is a port of a Saturn game and it costs $15.

I agree with ports, since there is no real justification as most of the development is done. Original titles are a different matter though.

I think the 15 dollar price tag just depends on the game..but its so hard for me to determine value when stupid MS still uses the point system ugh

Actually, the Maw is 800 points. I might pick that up. The demo made it seem like it would be a pretty good time.

The guys on Giant Bomb said that the Maw was really bad and really short so I never even considered picking it up.

I really want this game. It sucks being on such a tight budget because of our honeymoon. :(
