The Saturn and DC fared much better due to there Navi Saturn and a host special edition DC units.

Yeah nintendo fans are a dumb lot. Even back when I used to count myself among their ranks, I thought the prices they were willing to pay were outrageous. "OOHHhh look I just bough a NES toploader for $100." Um, didn't they make like a billion of them and they cost $50 at launch? "Yeah but they're rare!!!"

I like how on the wikipedia article for the NES2 it says, "retailed for $49.99 (equivalent to US$75 today)". Which is weird, not too many other vidoe game articles, bother to mention conversion of this nature. It's almost as if it was included to justify people who pay such high prices for one now.
