Only fitting that I post this here seeing that the board is named after it. ;)

I had picked up a Wii points card awhile back and last night finally put it to good use. Got on the Wii Store and picked up an old favorite of mine. Fantasy Zone! Man was it awesome playing that game again.

What got my master system juices flowing again was the references in the Bayonetta thread and that space harrier comic.

I did have one disaapointing moment when I realized they don't have Quartet yet. Is there any other way this game was released?

Funny! I was just playing Fantasy Zone on Master System the other day! :p That is a great game! Tough as freakin' nails, but a great game for sure!

As for Quartet, the only other release of the Master System version was on the Japanese PS2 Sega Ages Collection disc with S.D.I. and Quartet. Of course, finding Master System games on the Internet isn't too difficult. I'm sure Frogacuda could help you with that one if you need it. ;) Quartet was one of my favorites! Actually, Quartet was the first game I ever beat! Games seemed a lot harder back then... although I can breeze through the game now. I guess it was just because I sucked when I was a kid! :p I used to have MASSIVE problems with the third level dragon boss that swung back and forth while shooting at you! Then I found the invincibility power-up right next to it, and I could beat it before it even wore off! Good times! :)

Do you remember the story for Quartet (Master System)? You were going after the casket of a dead queen! I always thought that was strange. Oh well, I guess it's no more strange than your pet frog jumping into a giant pit in your back yard and finding a tank underground (Blaster Master). ;)
