Home of the King Penguin and his Penguin Army. A majestical palace built thousands of years ago, built as a bastion against the nefarious M2D and his Polar Bear Army. It's walls stand 3,000 feet high, and are made of an inpenetrable ice/diamond alloy.

The secrets of it's construction have since been lost. The Palace itself was a gift to the Penguin People from the ancient and mysterious race of Rappies.

History of the Penguins

It should be noted that this timeline represents only one theory on the origin of the penguin species. Long ago, when the world was cold and full of nothing the penguins came into existence. They were created by the one of the gods known as Opa Opa. He filled the planet Pluto with the creatures, and there they flourished and created a Utopian society. The penguins of this time were advanced beyond anything we know today. The ruled Pluto in peace and prosperity.

During this time the penguins began to explore the universe via space travel. Many great heroes served in the penguin armada. The most notable is Penguin Mission Commander Overbite, whose exploits have been well-documented in the Sega game 'Penguin Land'. An unknown Mission Commander made the mistake of exploring the lands of the infamous polar bears. It is a mystery to all what triggered the fighting, but a bloody war has waged since those days between penguin and polar bear.

The polar bear god cast a mighty curse on penguin kind, reverting them to the adorable, and still awesome, but diminished state that modern Earth penguins now hold. It is rumored that there are still tribes of super advanced penguins, and that those penguins are slowly plotting the restoration of their great empire and the fall of the polar bears.
