An amazing game series developed by Sega-AM2. Directed and producted by Yu Suzuki. Currently at 2 titles, it still holds the Guiness World Record for most expensive game ever made, thought actual budget is a matter of debate, with figures ranging from 30-40 million. However, it is undeniably one of the greatest video game series of all time, though it is currently unfinished. It has a large cult following who someday hope to see of third installment of this amazing work of art amd storytelling.

Shenmue is the story of a robot named Ryo, who so very badly wants to be human. At the beginning of the game, poor little Ryo can be seen trying to walk about town. However his stiff robot legs don't work very well, and his walking is erratic and unpredictable. He almost appears to move as if he was a tank. This saddens Ryo, for he wants to be human. Ryo gets word from his creator, Iwao, that a magical Dragon Mirror is just what he needs. In great ernest, Ryo sets out for this mystical mirror that can make him a man. During his adventure, Ryo tries to do things that humans do, like operating a fork lift, walking, playing video games and even talking, but poor Ryo is not a human. He is just a humble robot, and he does these things as a robot does them.

Will Ryo ever become human? Will Nozomi ever realize she's craving some mechanical poon? What will become of the Dragon Mirror? The world may never know.
